PhD Positions

There are 2 available PhD positions, in my group, on the following projects 

1. Efficient network-quantum-communication with hybrid atom-light entanglement (1 PhD).

Requirements: Applicants are expected to have basic idea about 

• quantum mechanics

• quantum information science 

• basics idea of entanglement theory

2. Developing operational resource theory for the quantum optical correlations (1 PhD).

Requirements: Candidates must have idea about

• quantum mechanics

• familiarity with phase-space mechanics (favourable)

• basic idea about quantum optical states

However, I am always open explore new avenues if there is a strong and interesting proposal.

Interested candidates can directly write to me. If you have NET/GATE fellowship you can start working whenever you join, special provision can be made. Otherwise, one needs to apply to the institutional advertisement for the same. Check the website. PhD candidates are taken twice a year.
