I am Dr. Shumaila Patrawala Saif Siddiqui, an educator by profession and a reformer at heart. My journey in the field of education has been rooted in the belief that "Education is the most powerful tool you can use to change the world," a thought that continues to guide my purpose and practice.
As a committed faculty member at Aishabai College of Education, I have had the privilege of contributing to the academic and institutional growth of the college. One of the most significant milestones during my tenure has been achieving an NAAC accreditation with a B++ grade, a testimony to our collective dedication, quality benchmarks, and continuous improvement in teacher education.
My work spans multiple dimensions of the academic ecosystem:
Placement Cell Lead: I have successfully organized career readiness programs and placement initiatives, including online drives, which have led to the recruitment of 30+ student-teachers across esteemed schools in Mumbai.
Grievance Redressal Cell Convenor: I believe in a student-centric approach and strive to create a safe, supportive, and just space where every voice is heard and respected.
Founder of the Alumna Alliance Network: I established this initiative to connect our alumni with current students, transforming former learners into mentors, motivators, and contributors.
Event Coordinator: I have conceptualized and led a variety of events, such as the ‘Viksit Bharat – Vision of Tomorrow’ competition series, aimed at nurturing creativity, innovation, and patriotism among youth.
I have also served as a resource person and speaker in national-level webinars and faculty development programs on themes such as:

With a strong command over subjects like Gender, School and Society, Contemporary India and education, ICT, and Pedagogies of Economics and Commerce, I aim to inspire my students not just to teach, but to lead with empathy and vision.
