Medical Disclosure: Be prepared to confirm your history of Hypertension (High BP), Hypotension (Low BP), Diabetes, Epilepsy, or Pregnancy.
Medication List: Have a list of your current medicines (especially blood thinners) ready.
Referrals/X-rays/CBCT: Bring any physical X-ray films or referral notes from your general dentist.
Eat a Heavy Meal: Ensure you have a full, balanced meal (like a hearty breakfast or Dal-Bhaat) as you will be on a liquid diet for the rest of the day.
Hydrate: Drink plenty of water or juice before your visit.
Medications: Take your routine medications as usual unless instructed otherwise by Dr. Pujara.
Music/Comfort: Feel free to bring headphones and your favorite music to help you relax during the procedure.
Transport: You are generally safe to drive yourself home, but you may bring a companion if you feel anxious.
Fasting (NBM/nothing by mouth): Absolutely NO food or water for 8 hours prior to your appointment. This is critical for your safety.
Responsible Adult: You MUST have a family member or friend to drive you home and stay with you for a few hours. We cannot begin the procedure without your escort present.
Clothing: Wear a loose, short-sleeved shirt (to allow for BP monitoring and IV access) and comfortable shoes.
Personal Items: Remove all jewelry, contact lenses, and nail polish.
No Smoking: Ensure you have not smoked for at least 12 hours.
