2025-2026 DeKalb Regional Science and Engineering Fair
2025-2026 DeKalb Regional Science and Engineering Fair
Science students participate in several academic competitions throughout the school year. The primary competition is the DeKalb Regional Science and Engineering Fair. The science fair is held annually in the month of February. The students who excel in this competition then compete at the Georgia State Science and Engineering Fair. Through these competitions the students have the ability to earn scholarships as well as other prizes.

The science fair is held annually in the month of February. The students who excel in this competition then compete at the Georgia State Science and Engineering Fair. Through these competitions the students have the ability to earn scholarships as well as other prizes.
The DeKalb Regional Science and Engineering Fair (DRSEF) is an affiliate fair of both the Georgia Regional Science and Engineering Fair (GSEF) as well as the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). As such we are governed by the same policy, rules and guidelines. All students, sponsors, and parents are required to observe the DRSEF Overview Module and complete the DRSEF Verification sign-off.
The DeKalb Regional Science and Engineering Fair (DRSEF) is an affiliate fair of both the Georgia Regional Science and Engineering Fair (GSEF) as well as the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). As such we are governed by the same policy, rules and guidelines. All students, sponsors, and parents are required to observe the DRSEF Overview Module and complete the DRSEF Verification sign-off.

Getting Started:
Step 1: Complete the Intent to Participate Form by September 22, 2025.
Intent to Participate 2025-2026 Link
Step 2: Notify the building level administrator
Step 3: Review the DeKalb Regional Science and Engineering Fair Safety Module and complete the safety acknowledgment form electronically.
Step 4: Develop a Fair Committee to support conducting the school science and engineering fair
Step 5: Set a school -based fair date and begin to recruit expert judges for the school science and engineering fair
