Teaching Interest

My teaching interest accommodates both online and class room lectures on Basic Sociology, Methodology of Social Research, Sociology of Crime, Sociological Theories and Thinkers (Both Classical and Modern) and other core Sociology Courses.

1. Presently working as an Assistant Professor of Sociology, in the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh, Sikar, Rajasthan, India since 07.01.2016.

2. I am empaneled as an Academic Counsellor of Sociology (MSO Programme), in Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi since 15.06.2017.

3. Worked as a Guest Lecturer (Full Time) in the P.G. Department of Sociology, Pondicherry University, Puducherry for the Academic Session 2013-2014.

4. Worked as a Guest Lecturer in the P.G. Department of Rural Development, Ravenshaw University, Odisha from 30.6.2015 to 5.1.2016.

5. Worked as a Guest Lecturer in the P.G. Department of Sociology, and the P.G. Department of Rural Development, Ravenshaw University for the Academic Session 2014-15.

6. Worked as a Guest Lecturer in the P.G. Department of Rural Development, Ravenshaw University, Odisha for the Academic Session 2012 - 2013.

7. Worked as a lecturer in MSW (Master in Social Work) and MRM (Master in Rural Management) programmes at Jayadev Institute of Social Sciences and Research, Bhubaneswar from 30th November 2009 to 10th December 2010.

Administration

1. Acting as the Member Secretary of Academic Programme Committee (APC) and Board of Studies (BoS) of the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh, from 24.05. 2017 till date.

2. Acting as a convenor of Subject Equivalence Committee of the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Mody University of Science and Technology from 28.07. 2016 till date.

3. Acting as the Convener of the course registration Committee of the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Mody University of Science and Technology from 2017 till date.

4. Working as a Teacher Mentor of M.A. Sociology students of the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Mody University of Science and Technology from the Academic Sessions 2016-17 till date.

5. Worked as the coordinator of UGC-NET coaching programme in the P.G. Department of Sociology, Ravenshaw University in the Academic Session 2014-15.
