Dr.Pugazhendhi Selvam

Dr. Pugazhendhi Selvam is a Consultant Pulmonologist, Allergist and Sleep Physician in Chennai with experience in respiratory medicine and lung care for children and adults.

He completed MBBS and MD and has additional qualifications including NCCP and EDRM (European Diploma in Respiratory Medicine). His clinical interests include asthma, allergies, chronic cough, wheezing, COPD, respiratory infections, tuberculosis, sleep-related breathing disorders, and other pulmonary conditions.

A particular part of his practice involves pediatric respiratory health. Children may experience recurring cough, wheezing, breathing difficulty, allergies, or repeated respiratory infections, and these symptoms can require age-appropriate assessment.

For adults, Dr. Selvam provides evaluation and management for various lung and breathing conditions, including chronic respiratory diseases, asthma, COPD, infections, and sleep-related concerns.
