Work in historical archeology
Dr. Paul M. Willette is a historical archeologist whose work focuses on ancient culture and civilizations. His field deals with societies, cultures, and civilizations that have already been documented from around 500 to 600 years ago. Unlike other archeologists who study prehistoric artifacts, historical archeologists usually compare what they have discovered with written history and oral tradition. They can search for historical pieces from the early industrial era.
Having worked as an archeologist for many years, Dr. Paul M. Willette considers the Tomb of Qin Shi Huangdi, Teotihuacán, Moche ruins, Petra, and Acropolis of Athens as some of his favorite archeological sites.
When he's not busy at work, Dr. Paul M. Willette spends time outdoors and enjoys activities such as swimming. He also likes listening to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and Claude Debussy.
