We’re building a research group that explores how the microbiome, epigenetic programming, and DNA repair pathways shape cancer behavior and therapy response. If you're passionate about women’s cancer biology, molecular mechanisms, and translational applications, we’d love to hear from you. Motivated students, trainees, and collaborators are always welcome.

We’ve published a new perspective article in Gene & Protein in Disease examining how microbiome imbalance rewires inflammatory control through the NLRP3 inflammasome and drives chronic disease across barrier tissues and metabolic systems.

Call for National Post-Doctoral Fellowship (N-PDF) Applicants – ANRF (2026)
The Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) will open applications for the National Post-Doctoral Fellowship (N-PDF) on 15 January 2026. I invite motivated postdoctoral researchers to apply under my mentorship at Manipal University Jaipur.
Research theme & focus: Decoding the Microbiome–Epigenome–DNA Repair Axis in Women’s Cancer and Health
The work broadly spans cancer biology, DNA damage response and repair, epigenetic and chromatin regulation, microbiome–host interactions, molecular genetics, and translational multi-omics, with a clear emphasis on women’s cancers and precision oncology.
Early interaction is encouraged to align research ideas and shape a strong, competitive N-PDF proposal.
