About Dr. Kinjal Chauhan:

Dr. Kinjal Chauhan is a renowned psychiatrist. She is M.D. in psychiatry with university first position.  She has done under graduation from AMC MET Medical College (LG Hospital) and post graduation from Government Medical College, Bhavnagar (Sir T. Hospital). She has worked with GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar ( Civil Hospital, Gandhinagar), Anjali Hospital for Rural Development. 

Dr. Kinjal' reasons for becoming psychiatrist are two fold: first she always loved the brain. Second, she appreciates the connections that being psychiatrist allow her to make.

'What I like to explain to my patients is that I want them to feel empowered about their mental health conditions. I help my patients understand their mental health and things they can do on their own as well as medications or therapies that could be helpful. I want my patients to be able to make informed decisions about their mental health rather than feel lost or confused, so I encourage questions and I do my best to explain things thoroughly."
