There are no examinations in this course. However, you are expected to do many readings and projects either individually or in groups. It is hoped that these activities will enable you to gain more knowledge about sustainable development and understand the issues as well as challenges surrounding the subject matter. There are five assessments that you will need to do in this course:
Participation in class, including attendance (15%)
Written Reflective Journal (Blog) (15%)
Individual Paper (Newsletter) (20%)
Group SD Project - This is your final assessment and consists of two parts:
Project Paper (25%)

Please go to iTa'leem to find out about your Group Members
Each group consists of 5 students. All groups are formed randomly and automatically through iTaleem. Should you decide to swap groups, please do it on a mutual basis. Once you get to know your group members, start discussing the SD Group Project as soon as possible. Once your group has decided on what community problem or issue to focus on, start working on your project paper.
