Class Website - This website acts as a one-stop-center for you to get all of your class materials such as Weekly Planner, Course Outline, textbook (eBook), PowerPoint slides, rubric or scoring guide for your assignments etc. To find our class website, just Google DRIZ Teaches or type bit.ly/drizteaches on your browser.
YouTube Channel - This medium is used to host all of my pre-recorded video lectures during the pandemic. I plan to update my notes and examples, so do subscribe to my channel to be notified of any new video posts. To find it, simply click on the YouTube button or search for DRIZ Teaches on YouTube.

About Me
My name is Izyani Zulkifli. I've been teaching at IIUM for 20 years. I think I've always known since young that I wanted to be a teacher of some sort, as I often tutored younger cousins and friends on subjects they didn't know about and felt good about it! After finishing my Accounting degree at Uniten, I decided to pursue my Masters at IIUM and started lecturing immediately upon completion. Few years later, I continued my studies at the University of Nottingham, U.K where I majored in Economics. After completing my PhD, I continued to work at IIUM until today. One of the things I enjoy about teaching is the opportunity to watch my students understand basic concepts and later apply those lessons into their assignments creatively. The global pandemic COVID-19 was indeed a challenging time for all of us in education. It forced me to change the way I deliver my lectures and how I assessed my students online. It also forced students to study remotely and more independently While I personally don't believe that virtual classes can ever replace face-to-face interactions between instructors and students, I appreciated the experience of teaching online during the pandemic. It was definitely a push factor for me to create this website!
I served as the Deputy Dean (Student Development and Community Engagement) of KENMS for one year before stepping down last August 2022 due to my health condition. I am now a regular staff member of my department, and I couldn't be happier! 😁
