The Lothian & Borders Classic & Vintage Motorcycle Club
We would like to thank Lothian & Borders Classic & Vintage Motorcycle Club for their generous donation. Their support plays a vital role in helping us run and maintain the Drill Hall, allowing us to continue improving facilities that benefit our whole community.
We have used this fund to purchase a large industrial hard floor cleaner, allowing us to clean and maintain the main hall floor more effectively. For all users of the hall, this purchase should make a considerable difference to the quality of their experience. We hope this gives confidence that the Management Committee will use funds wisely and for the benefit of the community as a whole.

Peebleshire News:
Our resident Rock Band - Amber formed in 2022. All current 6th Year Peebles High School pupils they were desperate for rehearsal space. With some support from us they made the ‘House’ their home. They meet weekly and have gone from strength to strength.
Last week they released their first single and in November they will represent Scotland in the ‘Future Makers’ project and play live in the Royal Albert Hall - London
This group of young people astound us daily. Not only are they talented musicians they have supported, encouraged & empowered a further 2 youth bands to form and rehearse weekly in the ‘House’.
Flora and Jay are also fellow Office Bearers on our management committee and provide an essential, inspiring and strong youth voice to all our decisions, ensuring the Drill Hall remains relevant to all.
We are so very proud to play a small part in this groups journey and can’t wait to see what they do next.
