The Drill Hall Community Centre is a well-loved space in the heart of Peebles, supporting a wide range of local activities, events and groups. Housed in a historic building with a strong community spirit, the hall has served generations of residents as a place to meet, create, learn and celebrate.
We are managed centrally by Live Borders and cared for day-day by a fantastic team of volunteers who care deeply about keeping the hub active, accessible, and welcoming for all. From art classes and fitness sessions, to meetings and social groups, the hall is used by people of all ages and interests.
We aim to keep our spaces affordable and flexible so that local groups, charities and residents can make the most of what we offer. If you are looking for a space for your activity, event, celebration, or idea - we would love to hear from you.
Our mission is to provide an affordable, welcoming and well-maintained space that supports community life in Peebles:
Encourage local participation and creativity
Enhance health & wellbeing
Support a wide range of groups and events
Keep the hall accessible and inclusive for everyone
