Current Position:

Provisionally Associate Professor

     Working as Principal PCMS and HOD Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Professional College of Medical Sciences (PCMS), Chokara (27300) Karak (affiliated with Khyber Medical University), KPK-Pakistan.

Responsibilities:

·  Teaching of various specialized subjects (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Genetics).

·  Working as a Course Coordinator and effective communication among students, host university (KMU) and parents.

·  Working as a Research Thesis & Medical Laboratory Coordinator, to excel the students related to modern technological approaches to cope various health challenges.

Previous Positions:

·       Assistant Professor (IPFP) at Department of Chemistry (Biochemistry) Kohat University of Science & Technology (KUST) 26000 Kohat, KPK-Pakistan.

Duration: April 16, 2019 to April 15, 2020.

·  Remained a Laboratory Coordinator (Research & General Labs) at Department of Chemistry/Biochemistry, KUST Kohat.

·   Lecturer in Biochemistry (Contract) at Department of Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering, Kohat University of Science & Technology (KUST) 26000 Kohat, KPK-Pakistan.

·  Research Officer (fixed pay) in a project entitled “Re-evaluation & Standardization of Selected Herbal Products for Export” at Department of Chemistry, Kohat University of Science & Technology (KUST) 26000 Kohat, KPK-Pakistan.

·  Qualitative & quantitative study of Herbal drugs using chromatography & other analytical techniques.

·  Biological activities of the active available compounds.

·  New liquid chromatographic methods development.

·  Standardization & Validation of newly developed methods according to ISO guidelines.

·  Extraction of active constituents from plants and their identification.

·  Research Associate (fixed pay) in a project entitled “Interrelationship between Physical and Genetical Changes that occur in Rice under Salt Stress” at Department of Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering, Kohat University of Science & Technology (KUST) 26000 Kohat, KPK-Pakistan.

Duration: March, 10, 2010 to March 10, 2011.

Responsibilities:

·  Biochemical and molecular characterization of different varieties of rice grown under salt (NaCl) stress.

·  Provision of technical expertise to newer students working in project.

·  Coordination with suppliers providing different instruments, equipment, chemicals as well as other lab accessories.

·  Data tailoring, interpretation as well as writing in scientific format for publications.

·   Laboratory Analyst at BRYON Pharmaceutical (Pvt) Ltd, Hayatabad, Peshawar KPK-Pakistan.

Duration: February 2006 to April 2007.

Responsibilities:

·  Chemical & Microbiological analysis of raw material, intermediate and finished product in a busy GMP environment using instrumental and classical analytical techniques.

·  Interpretation of data/results and subsequent entry into the LIMS (Laboratory information management system)

·  Validation and Quality control check on equipment, method and reference materials in compliance to the GLP guidelines.

·  Reporting out of the specification results to the line manager using appropriate method of communication.

·   Lecture in Chemistry at Cambridge Model School & College (Pvt) Karak, KPK-Pakistan.

 Duration: May 2005 to February 2006.

Responsibilities:

·  Following professional practices consistent with school policies in working with students, their records, parents, and school colleagues in a multicultural environment.

·  Maintaining confidentiality of students and students’ records and also supervised laboratory sessions.

Clinical Laboratory Skills:

·  Worked as a Consultant Biochemist at AL. Habib Computerized Clinical Laboratory, medicine market near DHQ Hospital KDA Kohat KPK-Pakistan and have well effective skills on all type of Routine Clinical & Special Biochemical Laboratory Diagnosis using latest diagnostic equipment.
