Drexel MFA fundraising is used a variety of ways. Some previous examples include bringing in esteemed guest speakers and having syllabi audited for accessibility. Awarded One Full Scholarship for a MFA Student - Jojo Elhassan

Awarded two Half Scholarships for MFA students

Awarded Four travel grants to help students to attend our Collioure Retreat and our Italy retreat

Awarded Substantial scholarship support for an incarcerated writer to matriculate and supported his MFA studies once he was released. 

Paid for digital inclusion strategist and LGBT activist Belo Cipriano to come and talk to our community. 

Paid for consulting by Kenny Fries. Kenny did a review of all of our syllabi through the lens of disability inclusion
