The Drexel MFA program is a two-year, low-residency program for creative writers. It is built on the university's commitment to experiential education, combining flexible online workshops with intensive residencies in major publishing hubs like Philadelphia and New York City. This unique structure allows students to sharpen their craft under the mentorship of published authors while also gaining direct, hands-on exposure to the professional literary world.
More than just a curriculum, the program fosters a close-knit and supportive community. Students are encouraged to experiment with new forms and ideas, find their authentic voice, and build a lasting network of peers and mentors.
