Wang Shuxin Yan

WANG Shuxin Yan graduated from the City University of Hong Kong's Bachelor of Arts in Creative Media in 2023 and then studied for the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Media at the same school in the same year. WANG focuses on the research of experimental film and the creation of experimental abstract animations and sound effects. She is also involved in humanities, psychogeography, and ethnographic research—a passion for ideologies expressed through visual images, text, and sounds. Her films have been selected for international film festivals and exhibitions and won awards in ISCA Japan. Using GenAI technology combined with art to explore digital death has been published in ISEA.
