Welcome to Dream Buddy. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully as they govern your use of our iOS application ("Dream Buddy" or "the App") and any related services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Dream Buddy, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Dream Buddy is an iOS application that creates dream interpretations and dreamscape images based on your daily dream journal entries. The App utilizes Apple's CloudKit and CoreData for data storage and OpenAI's API for generating responses.

3. User Accounts

The App may require you to create an account using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

• Dream Buddy may offer subscription-based services processed through Apple's App Store.

• All payments are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as outlined in Apple's refund policies.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.

5. User Content

You retain all rights to any content you submit, post, or display through the App. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems

• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App

• Use the App to generate harmful, abusive, or offensive content

• Reverse engineer or decompile the App except as permitted by law

7. Intellectual Property

Dream Buddy and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Dream Buddy and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dream Buddy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the App or via Apple's notification system.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of New Hampshire, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
