Education Advocacy at WSSU

I was invited to visit Winston Salem State University to speak about careers in counseling and attending graduate school. It was an empowering day and students from across the county came to meet with professors, practitioners, and other undergraduates whom were curious about counseling.

Cultivating NC Leaders

Education Advocacy? YES PLEASE! I had the pleasure of speaking with talented high school students of color from across the state of North Carolina about higher education and teaching.

Empowering Teen Girls

I was excited to be a part of a youth empowerment summit for teen girls from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system! I spoke about mental health and teen dating violence.
