If you witness someone violating the rules, encounter an in-game bug or crash, get banned, and would like to file a ban appeal, or have something to report, you can use our confidential ticket system feature available in our Discord. A staff member will respond to your ticket when they have the time. Please do not DM the staff regarding reports as it may slow down the process. Staff members will not handle incidents that involve them, ensuring a fair and impartial outcome for all player-based reports.

ENGLISH ONLY + MICROPHONE

Understand we have nothing against other languages, but for the purpose of making sure everyone is playing by the rules and to stop there being an advantage from using a different language we must advise that players speak only in English to keep it fair on everyone. We will do our best to warn players who break this rule but sadly there may be a language barrier and it could result in a temporary ban to get the message across. On top of being English only, everyone needs to have a clear, working microphone with push-to-talk enabled. Nobody wants to hear your background 24/7 and it's extremely difficult to roleplay with someone that doesn't have a clear or working microphone.

Breaking Character

STAY IN-CHARACTER AT ALL TIMES !

Just because someone breaks a rule doesn't mean you end the roleplay and go out of character yelling that "you are going to report them", follow the line of RP that is presented to you, adapt to the situation and then report it to staff once the interaction has finished. We expect you to stay in character 100% of the time while in server.

If you feel a rule was broken, use the report ticket on Discord.
Everything added to the server has roleplay in mind and because of this we don't want the little things ruining the experience.
If your character has a legal whitelist job, when you go off duty you are still that person. If you get arrested it can be reported to your department leads and may result in you being dismissed from your legal job.
Do not use terms in-game like "going to the government", threatening to get someone "deported", citing rule number violations, or tell someone their RP is "Fail RP". Please use Discord to report abuse.

Failure to Initiate

When you have an RP reason to want someone dead, but you do not re-initiate the RP after a prior situation. You must RP out another engagement verbally before engaging in any conflict.

You must initiate RP every time you go to engage in conflict. This is a roleplay server, not a team deathmatch shooter game.
If the person you are engaged with leaves the area, escapes, and goes to another area of the map, you must re-engage with them verbally before opening fire.
In the event of any minor altercation between two or more players, players will have a designated time of 30 minutes to re-initiate before the scenario is ruled discontinued. (Fighting, being knocked unconscious, theft/robbery/setup, or harming someone in any minor factor applies to this rule !)
In the event of any major altercation between two or more players, players will have a designated time between one and two hours to re-initiate before the scenario is ruled discontinued. (Shooting, torture, kidnapping, gang-related killings, killing associates associated with the same fraction/racing crew/cartel, or any critical injury in any major way applies to this rule!)

Not Fearing for Life

We get that you are playing a video game and " Fearing for your Life " is difficult when you can just respawn as if nothing ever happened (no respawning in server), but this is a roleplay server and as such you are playing as a human being who has a life within the city of Los Angeles where anything can happen , meaning that the life force of DRCRP® is built on a real life based system where ones character could easily be killed off ( Character Killed ) depending on one's injuries .

You should treat your every move as if it would affect you in real life as that character. For example : If someone points a weapon at you and you don't have one out already, you do NOT start reaching for your weapon or running away as this simply wouldn't happen if you were fearing for your life. You would however freeze in place and put your hands up and thus surrender.
You may not roleplay as someone immune to fear or being hurt.

Not valuing your freedom

Committing loud or highly visible criminal acts, violent or non-violent, in or near areas that would be highly populated such as , government buildings , job locations or business within the city is not allowed unless proper logical RP has taken place prior.

This also includes Green Zones . ( Committing crimes near Green Zones is extremely prohibited and have Major Consequences )

Metagaming

Metagaming is the act of using out-of-game information in your roleplay.

This includes info gained from:

Discord/Twitch Streams
A video/text conversation conducted out of character
Information from the #general-chat and #ooc-chat channels on the Discord
Other external communications such as Discord, Teamspeak, etc.
Knowledge from other characters that you have played as.

On our server, it is expected that you learn about everything in character and never use anything outside of the game to benefit you, even if you feel like your story or roleplay would be better knowing the information you've heard out of character.

On the topic of using recordings for in character consequences:

Anything streamed or recorded cannot be used to punish the character in RP, for example if a cop wants to do something shady on stream only the people involved in the RP situation can report it from their own perspective.

If you are watching the stream or recording, the footage it cannot be used against them in a roleplay scenario. Anyone can claim they are using bodycam footage, which in return can be used as evidence against someone in RP. However, streams and recordings can be used by staff to enforce server rules.

Powergaming

The process of gaining an advantage in a RP Scenario by using in-game mechanics or RP that results in the victim of the situation being given no other opportunity but to lose the situation.

You must always allow the party you are traumatizing in character, the ability to defend themselves and allow them to have a way out.
You must not use in-game mechanics to gain an in-character unfair advantage over others.
Cancelling animations to change the outcome of a scenario or speed it along, is also powergaming.

Services Baiting

Do not lure any services to a location to use them as a hostage or some type of leverage to aid yourself or others.

You must also " value your freedom " and avoid getting caught.
It is okay if you are turning yourself in for a crime and do not plan to initiate a situation with the police over it other than RP-ing it out accepting the consequences for your crime.
You " may not instigate " a police chase or shootout.

Injuries / Medical Roleplay

You must role play out your injuries realistically with EMS. If your character is unable to use verbal roleplay due to the severity of the injury you must us " /me " commands to communicate with EMS.

This includes communicating your status to the EMT's so they can properly treat you. Things like if you are bleeding, have gunshots, broken limbs, breathing issues, low heart rate or blood pressure.
Don't over do it and make it too much of a back and forth, but you still need to create a good situation for EMS to assist you with.
If you died to a bug or something you think shouldn't have happened DO NOT EXPECT EMS TO JUST PICK YOU UP!
Remember ! Chances of a " Character Kill " , is highly & most likely to happen depending on how critical the injury the character is facing , understand this is Real Life Role Playing . Watching how you carry your character & avoiding injuring's is a must & can lead to a character being " Killed Off ( Character Kill ) . "
They are not staff and are not revive bots to resolve your issues. You need to take that to a staff ticket or roleplay out an actual injury with EMS that is more substantial than "a scraped knee".
Going away from your keyboard after requesting a medic will also be punished as refusing medical roleplay.

Improper Escalation

The use of violence in the server is to be held to a high standard. A player should not escalate to killing another player over a situation their character would not realistically respond that way to in real life.

For example: If a player is thrown out of a nightclub for causing trouble, it would be considered improper escalation to wait outside for the club to close and gun down the owner or security guard who threw you out without more story built up.
Menial situations like the one above are ones that no sane person would risk their life and freedom over.
If someone walks away or ignores your escalation, they may be attacked only if tensions have been build between the two characters involved.

Anti-Deathmatch

Players are held to a standard of not turning the server into a Call of Duty Lobby. If a player returns or re-engages with the same group that injured them within 30 minutes, they are reportable and we will administer punishment.

If you down someone, you also cannot forcibly engage with them for the next 30 minutes. This applies to ALL players. Police are able to continue the chain of custody for suspects in lieu of this rule.

Spawn Camping

If a player has just spawned in and you watched them appear; leave them alone until they get their bearings and are able to figure out any hardware/software issues they might have when first loading in.

This is to prevent fail RP and an awkward situation as you just watched a person materialize in front of you. Give them the opportunity to leave the area and clear off.
Please be mindful of when you spawn in not to go AFK; quickly F8 quit if you have an emergency while you are spawning in. ( Failure to follow proper protocol will result in you being kicked after being AFK for a certain period of time )

Random Deathmatch (RDM)

RDM is when one is killed without prior interactions.

When it comes to roleplaying in Grand Theft Auto V, we understand it is a game built on violence and absurdity, but we expect our players to roleplay out the atrocities they act out and not treat it like a shooter.
If you kill a player with no prior interactions this is considered " RDM " , the rule is in place to stop people from just killing others as if it's something fun to do, killing another player is an extreme circumstance and should be considered as such.
Putting another player into a downed stage with no motive will be deemed as " RDM " and will be handled as such.

Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM)

" VDM " is the act of using your vehicle to kill someone in violent and non-violent situations.

Your vehicle should not be used as a weapon to gain an advantage in a gunfight or to assault another player. If you want to face off with an individual it is best to use your vehicle as a shield. You want to also strongly consider valuing any escape you have and valuing your life instead of making multiple passes or attempting to kill with your vehicle. UNDERSTAND THIS CLAIM !

Suicide RP

Do not roleplay out your characters suicide. This includes anything leading up to an attempt or successful character suicide.

Often times people act without considering others trauma and that is why it is not allowed here. Roleplay is meant to be an escape ! While not everything is peace and love, this is a line of RP that will not be allowed.
If you are a witness, you are allowed to break character in these scenarios to avoid being in an uncomfortable and/or triggering situation to tell them to stop.

Mutilation & Dismemberment

Mutilating is forbidden UNLESS it has been agreed to by all partaking parties.

You cannot force someone down this line of roleplay if they aren't interested in doing it, this is a strong line of roleplay that should only be pursued if everyone is 100%.
To pursue this, feel free to utilize asking them in /me's or get consent through Discord before proceeding.
If you are the victim, you are allowed to break character in these scenarios to avoid being in an uncomfortable and/or triggering situation where you do not consent.

Forced Death/Character Kill

" Character Kill " , is when you character dies , both voluntarily (suicide) and involuntarily (murder etc) . This leaves the character redundant and you cannot return to this character at any point , IT IS DEAD PERMANENTLY !

Examples :

1.) He/she could be arrested & sentenced to life in prison , resulting in the end of this Character .

2.) He/She could have been brutally wounded & is facing life threatening injuries which resulted in the end of the character .

3. He/she could have been murdered in a way that he/she injuries were crucial & resulted in their death .

4.) He/she could have been involved in a dangerous lifestyle ( Drug Dealing , Cartel or Gang Activity ) & have Crossed the Line , Backstabbed their Associates , Switched Sides to Work with the Enemy or Cooperated with the Authorities ( Snitching ) and now paid the ultimate price with their life being taken which resulted in the end of their Character . ( CONSEQUENCE'S )

Any of these things are considered " CK ", because it is the end of your character .

UNDERSTAND & NOTICE

The " Character Kill " meaning to the " RP Community " still remains the same like it would in any other " RP Server ", but in

DRCRP® , we have establish our own meaning of a " Character Kill " in our own similar & unique way that you will learn about down below.

Players invest a large amount of time in developing and expanding their characters, so it also their decision when their character's story comes to an end which in DRCRP® involves one to complete a "Character Kill application . "

" Character Kill Application " is an application a player will then fill out once they have decided to kill off their Character which results in them ending their Characters story . ( THIS CAN'T BE UNDONE )

In DRCRP® a " Character Kill " can happened within a blink of an eye , all depending on the choices you make in the City , not being carful on how you carry your character & also by not carefully watching your surroundings . When this particular outcome has come upon your character & claimed them as a victim , understand that the inevitable is yet to happen & have no other choice but to face the outcome .
Unless the player specifically roleplays that their character has died, all player-caused deaths will be treated as minor injuries.
Standing over another person after you down them and repeatedly shoot them instead of fleeing the area is seen as trying to force death.

Whitelist Job Abuse

The act of using information or functions, inside or outside of the game, that are a part of a whitelist job to benefit someone or metagame info.

This can result in punishment for your character at the discretion of whitelist job management, along with warnings being added to your violation.

Misuse of OOC

The purpose of the Out of Character (OOC) chat in the server is for asking for help with general questions about the server or communicate major server issues to staff.

Do not use it to convey in character information, such as a player's location or current RP status.
If someone has broken the rules, spamming in OOC chat isn't going to aid anything.

If someone is breaking rules, please take the reports to Discord and make a ticket through the [DRCRP® Ticket System] and don't try to report or complain about them through /OOC in game.

Streaming / Recording situations

Illegal activities are okay to stream, it’s not up to you as the Streamer to make sure people aren’t metagaming.

If people want to ruin their own experience by watching streams to gain information that is their choice , they will have to face consequences in the long-run . We don’t want streamers to feel restricted in what they do and making situations awkward by worrying about blocking content.

Anything streamed or recorded cannot be used to punish the character in RP.

For example if a cop wants to do something shady on stream only the people involved in the RP situation can report it. If you are watching the stream or recording, the footage cannot be used against them in a roleplay scenario.
Police officers can claim they are using bodycam footage, which in return can be used as evidence if required to prosecute criminals. However, streams and recordings can be used by staff to enforce server rules.

Stream Sniping

The act of intentionally angering or irritating another player with malicious intent or using information from streams, discords and other means to intentionally direct RP.

You must keep the information you have learned via watching streams and reading discussions separate from your character’s knowledge.
Stream snipping streamers in DRCRP® will and can result in a automated ban .

Robbing people & Hostage taking

To keep things fair there needs to be some rules in place to stop things getting out of hand and below are listed for you in simple terms to follow:

You cannot rob or take a hostage from a Green Zones , clothing store, hair salon, or while they are refueling or repairing their vehicle . These places are unique and often people are stuck in a lengthy menu process or animation which makes it borderline powergaming to take them hostage.
You cannot take people hostage or hold them up for the purposes of exchanging them for people in jail or people in police custody.
You cannot chain rob someone (IE: Robbing them waiting 5-10 minutes for them to buy stuff and then robbing them again). This is "FailRP" and powergaming all at the same time.
You cannot force a player to go to a bank, or to an ATM, and withdraw money, this is too much of a risk as banks have lots of surveillance and employees that would most likely notice.
The Police naturally carry weapons, tasers, handcuffs etc. Cops are not loot boxes, the only times a criminal will rob a cop is if their OWN life depends on it. But cops should NOT be held up just to get their gear, criminals typically avoid cop attention so robbing them just for loot is not allowed.
You must not take a police vehicle, unless it is fight or flight and the only option for you to leave the scene.
If you take a gang member hostage, a reasonable amount of money or items, may be requested of the other gang , but not to the exceed a value of $1,000,000. This does not apply to police situations. You cannot demand money from police.

Active Situation ruling : Do not involve yourself in an ongoing police situation which includes , Arrests being made , Police Chases , Active Shootouts , Escorting Criminals into the stations or booking them into the cells UNLESS you were involved from the start of the RP engagement . (There are times and places for this , use your smarts ! Do not camp Hospitals , Police Stations or any other services or Public Hubs , treat these areas as fully staffed . You must also have proper initiation to get back involved )

Example : Don't immediately jump back into the situation shooting from a distance or after respawning .

Avoiding RP

We understand and encourage people to draw their own comfortable lines and avoid what makes them upset out of character in the city, however we do encourage you to do such with grace.

To blatantly say "I don't want to deal with this situation" or "I don't want to deal with you" when someone is trying to spark up an idea is considered avoiding roleplay.
If you wish to not be apart of a scenario, we suggest that you do your part to be a good sport and roleplay yourself out of the situation or even calmly state your own limitations to them outside of the city if you wish to.

This rule can go towards people with out-of-character conflicts, and also situations with a whitelisted job purely avoiding their duties because they don't like the individual.

It is especially encouraged if you are a whitelisted job to handle whatever comes your way to the best of your ability and if it is a conflict to find a way out and just give it to someone who can do their story justice.

We all have a story our characters want to portray, and no one should be actively snuffing out things due to conflicts that go beyond the city without finding your own proper way out or even communicating in a clear and rational way to the other party.

Holding Hostage RP

In many situations it is highly discouraged to keep a player kidnapped and held captive for a long amount of time.

One may argue that if they didn't want to wait it out that they shouldn't get themselves in trouble, however no one can truly measure how much time a situation takes to roll out due to many things.

No matter if the player you have captive is a criminal or a citizen being held hostage, keep them captive at a maximum of 30 minutes unless the authorities are already involved .

If you intend to hold them captive for a story driven reason, you are welcome to do so as long as you reach out to them in /me's or on Discord if you know that information and they are reachable-- as long as you get their consent before proceeding as they have full right to decline.
You are also welcome to ask them if they are okay with the situation being longer. If they agree you are fine to proceed, but if they protest it is best to try and wrap up the situation.
Keeping police from rendering aid, gaining a lawyer, or any other on-scene delays adds time to this. It is 30 minutes for processing once the criminal is behind bars.

We love hearing about story driven situations, but also the player you are bringing it upon deserves to be able to draw the line and not feel like they are combat logging if their real life obligations are merging into their playtime.

Character relations & Transfers

All knowledge and possessions of each character must stay to that character and never be transferred or shared between characters you create.

Your characters are not meant to know one another and share information amongst the characters in a way that would benefit them.

Example : Claiming your other character is a sibling or a cousin greatly goes against this and should never be used as an excuse for a transfer of knowledge. If your characters happen to be related , consider them estranged from one another or not know that one another is living in the city.

The same thing goes for material goods. You should not transfer cars, money, or homes to other characters-- nor should they be able to share properties or businesses.

This is exploiting our systems and just not within the ways of roleplay.

Take pride in having your characters individually rise up and make their own names for themselves without relying on the other.

*NOTE: Assisting people with violating this rule by being or providing a means of transferring between characters is also a violation of this rule.

GROUP CONFLICT

No more than 6 people on either side can participate in a Group Conflict !
If you are engaged upon a Group Conflict and you have more than 6 players , you can keep everyone but CANNOT have any Reinforcements !
If you are engaged and have less than 6 people in a Group Conflict , you CAN call in backup but your group CANNOT exceed 6 players at any time , including downed members !
UNDERSTAND ! There should be a justifiable RP reason to have & to be in gauged in a Group Conflicts .
Outside help is NOT allowed , once Two Groups engage in conflict , you cannot add onto the conflict . This does not apply to Law Enforcement .
Group Conflicts or any conflicts should NOT occur in public or any highly visible areas UNLESS it is involved on Gang Turf(s) aka Red Zones .
No Location Camping , you cannot setup and hold one location in order to constantly engage with other groups . This does not apply to " Official Gangs " holding down their Gang Territory .

Conflict Guideline

Gang Leader(s) are the only candidates to decide the levels of escalation in conflicts between Gang(s) and must be discussed originally in-game in a verbal discussing against Gang Leader(s) or in the #gl-conference channel.
Gang War(s) must be declared in-game verbally only between Gang Leader(s) or in the #gang-war channel and given a valid RP reason for the War ( Must do for either one ) . Failure to do so can lead to admin intervention . Gang Leader(s) are not obligated to accept any declaration of War by any other Gang Leader(s) or Rivals but admin intervention may happen if they continue to refuse without any valid or formal RP reason(s) .
Gang War(s) must stay & happen in their designated areas on the map ( Gang Territory or Red Zones ) This means no random hits at Pillbox Hill , Police Stations , Public Places or any Green Zones .
NOTICE ! If someone is wearing your Gang Colors , minding their own business and chilling somewhere other than your Territory , you should NOT engage with them in a negative manner due to the effects this can have , especially on newer players .

Levels of Escalation

Escalation Levels must reset every 24 hours regardless of when the first level of escalation started . Theses exceptions also apply for Official Gang(s) during Gang War(s).

Below are some ideal levels of escalation keep in mind good logical roleplay must happen to allow things to escalate . Be creative in your roleplay .

Low : Verbal Altercations & Fist Fights ( Blunt & Non-Lethal )
Medium : On sight attacks w/melee Weapons Only !
High : Threats to one(s) Life ! ( Kidnappings [ Ransoms ] . . . Looting [ Arm-Robbery/Stashes House Robbery ] )
Severe : WAR ! ( Homicide's . . . Hit's [ Bounties ] . . . Looting [ Arm-Robbery/Stashes House Robbery ] . . . Territorial Take-Overs & Demands [ If Cornered ] )

OFFICIAL GANGS INFO

" Official Gangs " are Gangs that are established in the City by default . In the DRCRP® these " Official Gangs " are real life street Gang(s) in modern day Los Angeles .

Are provided with Territory(s) and a building(s) to run their Gang out of .
When participating in Group Conflicts you must wear your Gang Color(s), no blacking out or impersonating other Gang(s) by wearing their colors.
Can declare Gang War(s) ( Only by Gang Leader(s), during a Gang War you can ignore the escalation reset.
You are only allowed access to only 1 Character to be involved in 1 Official Gang at a time . ( RESPECT THIS RULE )

RULE OF 6

You may have a maximum of 6 people when engaging in group conflict. This includes criminal activities and your involvement with the Police . The Police have Guidelines they have to follow as well .

The exemptions are if you have setup a pre-determined gang war that is documented in the relevant discord channel by the Gang Leader(s) or representative of your gang has access to.
Kidnapping someone can allow the kidnapped parties' response to exceed 6 but not the kidnappers.
Gang alliances are not allowed ! You can be at Peace , but you cannot coordinate with them to lock things down , control things , and provide backup to each other.

You must have a reason for " Group Conflict " – there needs to be an option for the other group to get out of the conflict without any violence and bloodshed if possible .

Do not continually hit the same group over and over again. This can be considered griefing . Its not reasonable to expect that you can continue to engage in the same conflict without a cooldown... This Slowly burn the story & kills the fun in Role Playing .

Rules of Engagement

Different types of situations allow for different types of RP. Does the situation your involved in carry high stakes that your character would realistically respond in a lethal way too?

Bank trucks for example carry high stakes and it would not be deemed improper escalation or failure to initiate to shoot to kill without warning , this is what we call Engagement Without Initiation situation .
You cannot ambush people to kill them on sight . You must engage verbally and ask them to leave or take them captive . ( Provide some sort of RP )
Territorial Situation : If a citizen or newcomer enter your territory wearing your gang colors , whether they know of the gang , its city or its neighborhood , don't approach them aggressively or harass them asking them to remove the color . If a citizen that has been in the city for a long portion does this , then this rule doesn't apply to the situation . The acceptable thing to do in this situation is to question the player who they are , where their from & who told you , you could where them colors ( RP this scenario out ) or have a Gang Leader ( Lieutenant or Capo ) handle the situation .
Gang Territory : Official Gang(s) can engage with each other in Gang Area(s) or Red Zones in accordance with the Rules of Escalation or with prior verbal warnings .

Example : Rival Gang continues to enter your Gang(s) Territory after being told NOT to , once they have been warned once that day , you CAN openly engage on them even without a Declaration of War .

Crimes Engaging Police : It is only ok to openly engage police in a shootout when you have knowingly been stopped for a felony offense , have an active warrant or if you have ran from the police , cornered , while already having a weapon out . Baiting them into a shootout just for a shootout will result in a warning being given to you .
You CANNOT be arguing or have a disagreement with someone then go straight to shooting , that would be Improper Escalation .
Be mindful of highly visible public locations , Food Joints, Public Job Locations, Public Buildings . Places that would have some sort of CCTV and pedestrian presence , have some imagination .
Traffic Stops : It is NOT acceptable for your character to kill people over this . ( Let police role-players have some roleplay )
Store robberies ! You need verbal initiation.
Player robberies ! You need verbal initiation.

Non-Gang Members cannot engaged in any Gang Activity or Gang Related situations or be caught hanging around a Gang Territory(s) portraying that their with that particular Gang without being properly initiated into a Gang by the Gang Leader(s) . There are consequence's behind this particular misbehavior . ( This includes citizens who violate this action as well when trying to portray a police officers )

Cartel , Drug Dealing , Gang Banging & Criminal Lifestyle

Players of DRCRP® must understand that choosing a Lifestyle that results in any of these particular Categories can come with Life-Changing Rewards & Very Deadly Consequences !

Whether your choosing a path to become one of the most powerful " Cartel Drug Lord " to ever Live , who smuggles tons of Kilos into the United States & right into L.A to make a Profit from Buyers .

Whether you choose a path to become a " Kingpin/Gang Leader " on the Streets of L.A , who relies strongly on making a Living off of purchasing smuggled Narcotics from Cartel Drug Lord(s) , then later distributing them in large amounts in the Streets to your dealers to be Sold to make a Profit . ( Cocaine , Marijuana , Ecstasy , Meth Etc. )

Whether you choose a path of " Gang-Banging " where you'd have to pick a side to prove your Loyalty to , earn your Respect in order to able to move up the Ranks & also to be able to make money , all while following the street code to never Snitch or Switch on your Allies . Pledging to ride or die no matter the cause & to be able to take order received by your Leader to complete with no excuses .

Or whether your a " Modern Day Criminal " who relies on Thief or any sort of Illegal Activities just to make a hard earned dollar , either or they all have to answer to the " Law " , that's if you know how to Avoid Them & Survive !

Role Players who are part of DRCRP® community must & have to understand , that the way Kso Tv® created a different style of RP is a very unique style of RP ! That being said , any Role Player's involved in any criminal activity must completely understand that , once that particular character is involved with that Category of RP , you are AUTOMATICALLY marked in the " Character Kill " Scenario ! Meaning there is only one way out of this particular lifestyles of RP , & that is Death to one(s) Character ! ( or sentenced to a Life sentenced in Jail which is still CK )

As you might of read in the Forced Death/Character Kill , " snitching " is also a form of " Character Kill " to where you put your character in danger of being killed off . This is a scenario where one(s) character CANNOT get themselves out of & the only result for that particular character is to be killed off for his or hers actions ( or take a more reasonable approach in going into protected custody ) but understand this can only happened if they are being suspicious of or found caught in the act of snitching . Only Gang Leader(s) or Leader(s) of any such can give the say so to off ( Hit ) a person who has snitched ( This also relates to non-criminals/non-gang members ( citizens ) who are also being suspicious or founded caught in the act of snitching )

Backstabbing your associates for money , materialistic things ( drugs or valuables ) or for power ( dethroning ) out of envy also takes a form in" Character Kill " if found suspicions of or caught in the act performing this kind of behavior towards your fraction/gang/racing crew/cartel or towards any Induvial of any kind.

Switching sides to join or work with the enemy is also a scenario where you character is in danger of being " Character Killed " if found suspicious of doing & also caught up with by their old gang & associates . ( Working with the enemy in-secretly , working with the police in-secretly & working with the feds in-secretly also fall under this category as well )

Harassment

Harassment can be seen in a number of different lights and it doesn't have to be the person being harassed reporting it.

It goes without saying that here within DaRealCityRp®, we set the expectation and precedent that your behavior towards other people is to be above board . Toxicity , Griefing of any kind , Inappropriate Advances , Continuous Engagements against another person or Group , Targeted statements concerning Race , Religion, Sexuality , Gender or any Personal Attacks are all considered Harassment.

Everyone is entitled to a safe environment and healthy community to grow , learn and come to hang out with friends and this is punished heavily to ensure our network and cultural standards are maintained .

Rape / Sexual Assault Conduct

At no point should anyone ever roleplay any sexual assault or rape. Regardless if it is pre-planned and consent is given from both sides or not.

The above is not a joke and shouldn't be roleplayed out for entertainment . Anyone caught doing this , which we have player logs to prove it , will be banned permanently from the network with no chance of ever getting back in .
You are allowed to break character in these scenarios to avoid being in an uncomfortable and/or triggering situation .

Inappropriate Advances

When it comes to creating a character or persona , you may seek out being eventually romantically involved , it goes without saying that it won't start with inappropriately catcalling or aggressively advancing upon the first person you see that you deem "attractive."

Forge a friendship and let it blossom into a relationship and don't approach people in an uncomfortable way .
A lot of people endure this kind of behavior in the real world and don't want to deal with it in roleplay, and it does nothing but make people uncomfortable .
Acting in this way borders on sexual harassment which is not tolerated in our community .

Scripting / Exploiting / Attempted Exploitation

Using anything that will give you an advantage via means that aren't intended for everyone to have access to . Such as aim assists , money spawning , vehicle spawning , bug abusing , keyboard/mouse macros , etc.

Anything that could be deemed an exploit is a very severe punishment by levy of the Leadership team.
If you are caught attempting to exploit you will receive a Permanent Ban .
If you manage to avoid a Permanent Ban , it is very likely the next time we see it happen will result in such .

Racism / Extreme Language

Under no circumstances should you be using racial, derogatory, homophobic, or sexist terms.

Although DaRealCityRp® is an 18+ community , there is a line that should never be crossed and this is where this category comes in . Anyone caught using racist/homophobic or advocating extremist positions will receive a Permanent Ban .

The hard N(er) word is offensive to most as it is a racial scenario & vocab.

The R word isn't offensive to some as it is a part of daily vocab.

The T slur isn't offensive to some as it is a part of daily vocab.

However... here at DaRealCityRp® we are creating a safe environment for everyone.

Therefore...

All of those words are NOT part of the allowed vocab in our games or our discord .

Combat Logging/Character Switching

Combat Logging is when you log out of the game mid situation or to avoid a scenario completing its course .

If you make a choice and it has a consequence that you don't like then you can't ruin another player's situation to benefit yourself.

This also goes for character switching in the GTA server . Swapping to another character to avoid a situation or using 2 characters to gain advantage in a situation is also not allowed . Keep the character lives separate and away from each other as any coordination will be seen as Exploiting the systems we have in place .

Toxicity

Sometimes frustration will come through and people will have moments of rage that make them less desirable to be around but there is a line between having a one off frustrated moment of rage and just being all round toxic.

We don't want the community turning into a negative place to be , we want people to feel comfortable around others and not get bummed out by negativity all the time .
Please try and keep your spirits up when playing on the server , aftercall it is just a game and if you feel yourself becoming irritated take a break ! Same applies in discord No Toxicity .
