Referrals to Specialists

Three years of integrative residency taught me the importance of referrals to specialists:  Every person deserves a team of healthcare advocates. I strive to provide a referral network of informed and inclusive practitioners to support each patient’s health and respect their cultural and personal preferences.

All of your appointment time is spent with Dr. Skinner.

New Patient Appointments 

Scheduled by our front desk staff and are 45-60 minutes long.  At a new patient visit, you can expect to review your past medical history, current symptoms, supplements and medications, followed by physical exam and then a discussion of options for treatment, orders for diagnostic testing and/or imaging, and referrals to specialists if necessary.    

Follow up Appointments

Follow-up appointments are 30-45 minutes, and can be scheduled through the front desk or the Athena portal.  They include the same as new patient appointments, minus the past medical history. 

Telehealth 

Telehealth appointments are available, as long as you are within Oregon at the time of your visit.
