Dr. Parabattina Bhagath is a dedicated Professor of Computer Science and an accomplished researcher in speech processing. Since 2020, he has been associated with Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering (LBRCE), Mylavaram, and over the past 14 years, he has inspired and guided students in various academic capacities.

His research work spans speech processing, IoT, and agriculture applications, with a primary focus on advancing speech-processing techniques for low-resource Indian languages. Dr. Bhagath is actively involved in creating a new speech corpus for Indian languages, enhancing communication and understanding across the linguistic spectrum.

Notable Recognition

• IETE Gold Medal (2007): Dr. Bhagath was honored with the prestigious Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) Gold Medal in recognition of his exceptional academic achievements. This award was conferred for securing the highest percentage marks among his peers while completing the AMIETE (Associate Member of IETE) qualification. Areas Of Interest

I am working on speech modeling through geometrical features of the speech trajectory. Usually, features have been extracted from the data by treating it as a temporal or spectral signal. We are trying to understand a speech signal as a structural component rather than following these traditional ways of looking at the data as numbers. Apart from these problems, I am also working on the following domains:
