My research activity in BCI is mainly devoted to improve BCI performances, develop new algorithms, find new characteristics from brain signals, and control in real-time some external software/devices such as: robot arm and games.
During my PhD period, I succeed to control a video game in real-time with eye movements using only two EEG sensors (click here for video demonstration).
Since receiving my PhD, I have been participating in research project called ImPACT (Impulsing Paradigm Change through Disruptive Technologies Program - Actualize Energetic Life by Creating Brain Information Industries). One part of this current research is aimed at advanced real-time control of Gemanoid (humanlike robot) using MEG-based BMI, involving lot of famous researchers and experts such as: Prof. Hiroshi Ishiguro and Prof. Masayuki Hirata.
