Annette Vincent is an educator and champion of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) with a global impact across the U.S., Qatar, and Singapore. With a rich academic career as a Full Professor (Teaching Track) and Inaugural Associate Dean for DEIB, Annette has led transformative, data-driven initiatives to support underrepresented groups, develop inclusive policies, and cultivate a lasting culture of belonging in diverse settings. Annette is innovating sustainable practices that align with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals. Her cross-sector experience uniquely positions her to drive impactful change in communities and organizations worldwide. 

Workshop & Training Initiatives

Annette Vincent facilitates a range of workshops focused on fostering inclusion and addressing the social dimensions of ESG. These include Interrupting Microaggressions, Restorative Practices, Entering Mentoring, Unconscious Bias, Reducing Bias in Hiring Practices, and Bystander Awareness and Intervention. Each workshop is designed to provide practical tools for individuals and organizations to create more inclusive, equitable, and supportive environments by recognizing and addressing problematic behaviors, fostering positive relationships, and promoting accountability across diverse settings. 

Volunteer Leadership 

Beyond academia, Annette Vincent is a volunteer trainer with AWARE, a leading organization in Singapore dedicated to gender equality and women's rights. In this capacity, she facilitates workshops empowering participants with skills and insights to promote gender equity and inclusiveness in their own communities. Her work with AWARE underscores her commitment to driving societal change and personal empowerment on a global scale.

With a focus on measurable outcomes, Annette Vincent leverages data analytics to inform and refine DEIB strategies, ensuring that initiatives address genuine needs and create impactful change. By analyzing data patterns and feedback, Annette Vincent develops targeted interventions that drive equity and inclusion in educational and professional environments.

Thought Leadership & Publications

Annette Vincent has served as a Board Member with Qatar Academy for Science and Technology for K12 education, and her published research spans critical topics in DEIB in education, sustainability, and biotechnology. Notable publications include research on circular economy and bioplastics, featured in Scientific, Biotechonology and Bioresource Technology Reports, bridging technical expertise with social responsibility across international contexts.

With a foundation in Biochemistry and Data Analytics, Annette Vincent has dedicated her career to fostering reflective, purposeful teaching.
