Josselyn was born in Peru and migrated to New York in 1997. A graduate of Williams College, Josselyn is an ALA Spectrum and REFORMA scholarship recipient pursuing a Master’s in Library Science and Archiving from Queens College (CUNY). Josselyn has been a community organizer since 2014 working at the intersections of displacement and criminalization specifically in immigrant communities. She is currently an adult learning center manager with the Queens Public Library (QPL), and prior was the program coordinator for the Queens Memory Project. She is also supporting the launch of the UndocuArchive and an active organizer with Queens Neighborhoods United.
