Dr. Yunjeong Chang is an assistant professor in the Department of Learning and Instruction at University at Buffalo (UB), the State University of New York (SUNY).
Dr. Chang earned her Ph.D. in Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of Georgia under supervision of Dr. Michael Hannafin in 2015. Before joining UB in 2018, she worked as a research scientist and a postdoctoral research associate with Drs. Joanne and Jim Cohoon in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Virginia. Trained as a learning scientist and an instructional technologist, Dr. Chang has conducted interdisciplinary research with scholars in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Medicine, and Special Education. Originally from South Korea, she was a high school teacher, an instructional designer, and a medical education researcher there.
