I teach Elementary Science Methods and Physical Education and Sport Studies undergraduate courses and Comprehensive School Health for Leadership graduate course at Concordia University of Edmonton. 

At the Unversity of Calgary, Werklund School of Education I teach courses in the Master of Education program including the research year, inclusive education, and social justice.

EDUC523: Science Education for Elementary School

The Elementary School Science Program 'Alberta Education' and the two main areas of skill emphasis: science inquiry and problem-solving through technology. In science inquiry, the focus is on asking questions and finding answers based on evidence; in problem-solving through technology, the focus is on practical tasks - finding ways to make and do things to meet a given need.

Physical Education and Sports Studies

The Physical Education and Sport Studies Minor provides students with foundational knowledge of the field of Physical Education and Sport Studies as a component of coursework within their undergraduate studies. The field of physical education, sport studies, and health and wellness has received increased attention in recent years from the media, health practitioners, teachers, and government officials. As demands on people’s time and money have increased, a corresponding pronounced decrease in personal health and wellness has been identified.

The Physical Education and Sport Studies suite of courses is designed to attract a broader segment of Concordia University of Edmonton’s student body to a focus on physical literacy and active living, and to develop defined career streams that have the potential to link to existing course offerings. Courses include both activity and pedagogy necessary for sport instruction.

Werklund School of Education MED: Interdisciplinary

The Master of Education (MEd) Interdisciplinary program is a three-year, laddered pathway where students select from available topics to complete their first and second years. Students are awarded the MEd after successfully completing the Educational Research topic in their third year.

Graduate Supervision

I am available to supervise graduate students with capstone projects, Masters Thesis and Doctoral  Dissertations.
