I’ve been fortunate to spend my entire career working with young people--kids, adolescents, and young adults. This is my passion and I bring years of experience to the job. I love having conversations about things that matter such as friendships, making important life decisions, managing stress, and healing from past hurt or trauma. Most people describe me as friendly, down to earth, and caring. Your thoughts and feelings really matter and I want you to feel better and to have more control in your life. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect, compassion, and acceptance.
I’ve been in private practice since 2006. Prior to this, I worked in community mental health where I provided clinical services and supervised doctoral interns. I’ve also taught college classes as an adjunct professor. I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology. I have specialized training in working with children and adolescents.
When I’m not at work, I love hanging out with my family (husband, daughter, stepson and stepdaughter). I’m into hiking, biking, cross country skiing, and traveling. I volunteer my time leading a weekly adolescent youth group on topics that revolve around mental health. I’m also obsessed with our family’s dog, Bailey. He’s a cavapoo who looks like a teddy bear, but identifies as a human!
