In physics we explore the wonders of motion, light, sound, electricity, magnetism, chemistry, nuclear chemistry, and many more fascinating aspects of the natural world. Physics helps us explain the natural world and opens a universe of endless possibilities held within. This knowledge has enabled us to harness energy and power, creating a civilization of light and information unmatched in history. What we have done with this power has been incredible, and hopefully, we can continue to help humankind with our understanding of the natural world.
Syllabus for Physics 2025-26!!!!
Resources for Physics: You will need a calculator and a textbook.
Textbook: Our textbook for Physics is: Conceptual Physics by Paul Hewitt, High School Physics Program 2009. It can be found at Amazon.com: https://shorturl.at/fnpE5 Used texts are very inexpensive.
Calculator: You won't need a fancy, high-powered calculator for physical science. A simple, less-than $10 calculator will suffice: I like the Casio FX-260 or the equivalent. It can be found here at Amazon.com: https://shorturl.at/esHY9. A more complex calculator will only make your life harder, so rather than buy an expensive calculator, find a simple one like the Casio-FX-260.
