Dr. S. Sharma completed her Ph.D. from Pharmacology & Toxicology lab (2021) under the supervision of Dr. Damanpreet Singh. She worked on understanding the cardiac abnormalities associated with chronic epilepsy that ultimately leads to Sudden unexpected death  in epilepsy.

Dr. Mazumder has earned his doctorate degree from Pharmacology & Toxicology lab (2019) under the supervision of Dr. Damanpreet Singh. PhD research was entitled ‘Investigating the role of selected mTOR signaling pathway inhibitors in experimental models of epilepsy and associated comorbidities’. In this regard, identification of potential ligands directly or indirectly modulating the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway was done and their role in chronic animal models of epilepsy mimicking human pathological conditions, along with inhibition of aforementioned pathway hyperactivation in epilepsy associated neurobehavioral comorbid conditions was investigated.

Dr. Nobosse completed his Ph.D. in 2020 as a TWAS-CSIR fellow with Dr. Damanpreet Singh as the Host supervisor. He was registered with the University of Ngaoundéré, Cameroon (Under CSIR-TWAS Sandwich Postgraduate Fellowship Ph.D. research programme). His research work involved nanotechnology-based approach in development of nutraceuticals intended to the management of oxidative stress-induced disorders.

I, Durgesh Nandan Shukla have completed my Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacology from VNS Faculty of Pharmacy, Bhopal (M.P.) in 2019. I am currently working on the neuroprotective potential of natural products in reperfusion therapy following cerebral ischemic stroke. I am continuing my research with the help of the zebrafish stroke model, and molecular biology & cell imaging techniques to investigate the effect of the natural product on brain protection.
