Introduction

I am currently employed in the School of Mathematics at the Univeristy of Edinburgh. My primary duties include both teaching and research. I am also currently the Deputy Director of teaching for the school as well as a Personal tutor. In addition, I am currently a Fellow of the HEA as well as a member of the IMA and EMS.

I have been involved in lecturing a variety of underergraduate courses including:

(Year 4) Functional Analysis.
(Year 3) Complex Variables.
(Year 1) Introductory Mathematics with Applications.

In addition to these duties I am also involved in the use of STACK - a moodle plugin which can be used to assess a range of mathematical questions. Recently I have been involved in writing entirely online courses in STACK in statistics and introductory maths. I am also interested in how such systems could be used in order to better assess proof for higher-level courses.
