I was born and raised in Tenali, Andhra Pradesh, India, a picturesque town renowned for its beauty. I completed my Bachelor of Pharmacy with first-class honors. Subsequently, I embarked on my professional journey as a NIPERian at Hajipur, joining the M.S. (Pharm.) Biotechnology, 2019 batch. In 2021, I transitioned to a Ph.D. research scholar position at NIPER-Raebareli, where I am under the guidance of Dr. Nidhi Srivastava. My research focuses on the significance of endophytic fungi in the pharmaceutical and medical fields.
I have completed my Master’s in Biotechnology from Jamia Millia Islamia, New- Delhi. Further, I have joined Ph.D. under Dr. Nidhi Srivastava in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. Here I’m exploring extracellular vesicles residing in plants and animals. Currently I’m working on exosomes derived from plant sources and observing their therapeutic effects against glioma. Exosomes are tiny packets consisting lipid bilayer and cargoes including RNA, proteins, Lipids and different metabolites. They act as a signalling messengers from one cell to another cell and showing their therapeutic effect on the basis of cargoes they consist of. Exosomes are well-known carriers for drug delivery, and transport of siRNA, proteins, and biotinylated DNA to distant places. As they have cargo in which they load the transferring substance to the targeted place.
I completed my bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Savitribai Phule Pune University and masters from NIPER Hajipur. During my postgraduate studies, I developed a nano lipid construct for breast cancer treatment. My PhD work focuses on investigating role of peptides, with a special focus on metabolic pathways as a key contributing for drug resistance in lung cancer. My research integrates in silico approaches including virtual screening and molecular dynamics with protein expression analysis and in vitro validation. My research is dedicated to drug discovery, aiming to developing peptide-based strategies to counter drug resistance mechanisms in lung cancer.
Born and raised in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, I studied Biotechnology at NIPER-Hajipur, earning my M.S. in 2016. After six years as a Drug Safety Associate at Syneos Health, I returned to academia as a Ph.D. research scholar at NIPER-Raebareli, working under the supervision of Dr. Nidhi Srivastava and Dr. Niranjan Meher on turmeric-derived exosomes for prostate cancer treatment.
I did my masters in biotechnology from NIPER-Raebareli, where I worked on hypoxia and cell death. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Nidhi, focusing on the exploration of bacterial nanovesicles and their enigmatic activities, particularly their interactions with other bacterial species. My research delves into the roles of nucleic acids and proteins within these nanovesicles, aiming to unravel their complex biological functions. By understanding the mechanisms underlying bacterial nanovesicles and their interplay with other microorganisms, my work holds the potential to contribute to novel therapeutic strategies for combating bacterial infections. Through my meticulous research and interdisciplinary approach, I strive to bridge the gap between basic science and clinical applications, aspiring to make meaningful contributions to the scientific community and beyond.
I am Jaskiran Kaur, a Ph.D. scholar in Biotechnology at the NIPER, Raebareli, working under the expert mentorship of Dr. Nidhi Srivastava and Dr Saurabh Awasthi. I feel privileged to be guided by her and am passionate about contributing to impactful research in the field of neurodegenerative disorders. Born and raised in Lucknow, I earned my B.Pharm. from PSIT Kanpur (affiliated with AKTU) in 2021 and completed my M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutics from BBAU Lucknow, in 2023. My current research focuses on protein aggregation in neurodegenerative diseases and its modulation by gut microbiota-derived metabolites. Through an integrated approach combining computational studies, biophysical protein aggregation assays, molecular simulations, and cell-based experiments, I aim to identify novel therapeutic strategies for mitigating protein misfolding and aggregation.
My research focuses on understanding the role of small regulatory RNAs (sRNAs) in regulating virulence and biofilm formation in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. I have expertise in molecular biology and RNA biology, with previous research experience in the recombinant expression and purification of Mycobacterium tuberculosis proteins. My broader research interests encompass bacterial pathogenesis, gene regulation, and the development of RNA-based therapeutic strategies to combat antimicrobial resistance.
I’m a first-year PhD student at the Department of Biotechnology, NIPER-R. I’ve always been fascinated by how tiny molecular changes can create major impacts on health and that curiosity drives my motivation in the lab. Before beginning my PhD, I completed my M.Tech in Biotechnology at RV College of Engineering, Bangalore. Outside the lab, I enjoy reading and trekking, which help me stay creative and energized.
I'm Aakash from Delhi, born on August 10, 1998. I completed my D.Pharm in 2019, B.Pharm in 2022, and M.S. Pharm in Biotechnology from NIPER-Guwahati in 2025. Currently, I'm a Ph.D. scholar at NIPER-Raebareli in the Department of Biotechnology. During my master’s, I worked on the role of non-canonical WNT ligands in cisplatin-resistant ovarian cancer. My Ph.D. research now focuses on developing cancer-targeting theranostic drugs using small molecules, nanoparticles, and phototherapy, along with in vitro and in vivo studies. I am glad to be a part of NIPER Raebareli.

I am Prayagini Dubey, born in Prayagraj and raised in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh. I completed B.sc with Zoology in 2017 and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur, in 2024 with a focus on plant molecular research. Currently, I am working as a Junior Research Assistant at NIPER Raebareli, developing nano formulation from kitchen waste for effective post-harvest management and shelf-life enhancement under the supervision and expertise of Dr. Nidhi Srivastava.

She has served as a mentor and supervisor, with several scholars being awarded their Ph.D. degrees under her guidance and working as eminent members in world ranking institutes and industries.
