Our laboratory combines advanced imaging and analytical instruments to investigate the physical properties, internal structures, and composition of agricultural and food materials. Our facilities include hyperspectral imaging, X-ray imaging and micro-computed tomography, single-kernel characterization, and nitrogen and protein analysis. Together, these capabilities support research in seed and grain quality, food characterization, and the development of non-destructive assessment methods. A selection of our laboratory instruments and their capabilities is presented below.
