Mohamed founded ArabBSD in 2010 to build community support for BSD systems in the middle east. It aimed to boost Operating System development efforts in the middle-east based on the FreeBSD Kernel.
ArabBSD successfully delivered the first FreeBSD Operating System educational course in the middle-east in 2011. The course materials were reused by entrepreneurs all over the globe including Brazil, USA and Japan. The course is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution and its materials are available on this URL.
