Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sciences and Humanities (stream of Mathematics) at IIITDM Kancheepuram, India. Prior to that, I was a Post-doc fellow in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. Here, I worked under the supervision of Dr. Arnab Hazra. I worked as a Research Assistant under the supervision of Prof. Min Xie at Centre for Intelligent Multidimensional Data Analysis Limited (CIMDA), Hong Kong Science Park, Hong Kong.

I obtained my PhD under the guidance of Dr. Nil Kamal Hazra from the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, India. I completed my M.Sc. in Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India, in 2018 and B.Sc. in Mathematics from Moti Lal Nehru College (MLNC), University of Delhi, India, in 2016.

My research interests are: Extreme Value Analysis, Reliability Theory, Applied Probability, Stochastic Models, Shock Models, and Stochastic Processes.

I have served as a reviewer for the journals: Test, Methodology and Computing in Applied Probability, Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry, Communications in Statistics: Theory and Methods, Probability in the Engineering and Informational Sciences, OPSEARCH.
