Dr. Dattatreya Tripathy, Ph.D.

Dr. Tripathy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune. He completed his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna, Bihar.

His academic and research expertise lies in structural engineering, masonry strengthening, seismic retrofitting, and sustainable infrastructure systems. His doctoral research focused on strengthening of unreinforced masonry structures using externally bonded Steel Wire Reinforced Cementitious Matrix (SWRCM).

He has contributed extensively to national and international journals and conferences in the field of structural rehabilitation and performance-based engineering. His research integrates experimental investigation, analytical modeling, and sustainable construction practices to enhance structural safety and resilience.
