Dr. Areti LLC Naturopathic Integrative Functional Medicine vs. Conventional Medicine
What my clients Should Know. Scroll down for fees and policies
When it comes to healthcare, my clients often wonder what makes Dr. Areti LLC, Naturopathic Integrative Functional Medicine different from the conventional model, other Naturopathic, or Functional Doctors, they’re most familiar with. This guide explains the key differences so clients can make informed decisions about their care.
1. Philosophy of Care
Conventional medicine often focuses on symptom management and treating acute
conditions with medications or surgery. Naturopathic integrative Functional Medicine on the other hand, emphasizes identifying and addressing the root causes of illness. It views the body as an
interconnected system and prioritizes long-term wellness.
2. Client-Doctor Relationship
In conventional care, appointments are often short, sometimes lasting just 7-12 minutes.
Dr. Areti Naturopathic integrative Functional Medicine spends more time with patients, listening to their histories during the follow ups, exploring lifestyle factors, and developing personalized treatment plans, in a series of sessions so they cover all aspects of health and wellness: Structural, emotional, biochemical, neurological, physical.
3. Treatment Approaches
Conventional medicine relies heavily on pharmaceuticals and procedures to treat
symptoms. Dr. Areti Naturopathic Functional Integrative Medicine protocols use a broader toolkit, including structural Medicine, emotional health, Functional neurology, Manual Therapies, Lymphatic drainage, nutrition education and support to offset drugs side-effects, parents education, lifestyle modifications, stress coping strategies instead of avoiding stress and being paralyzed, supplements, Blood tests and, when necessary, medication management.
4. Diagnostics and Testing
Standard medicine uses lab tests and imaging to detect disease. Dr. Areti goes
deeper by using advanced testing for hormones, gut health, nutrient levels, genetics, and
more to uncover imbalances before they develop into serious disease, in a step wise approach, so client avoids unnecessary expensive blood tests.
5. Preventive vs. Reactive
Conventional medicine is often reactive—patients typically seek care once symptoms
become problematic. Dr. Areti’s protocols emphasize prevention, repair, and wellness.
6. Personalized Care
Dr. Areti recognizes that no two patients are alike. Treatment plans are customized based on genetics, environment, emotional/mental health and lifestyle. Conventional medicine often follows standardized guidelines designed for the majority ignoring the brain, the nervous system, the lymphatic, the emotional wellness.
7. Chronic Disease Management
Chronic conditions like diabetes, autoimmune disorders, and digestive issues are growing
worldwide. Conventional medicine may provide medications to manage symptoms, while
Dr. Areti seeks to uncover root triggers and support the body’s healing capacity.
8. Collaboration and Education
Dr. Areti often acts as health coach, guiding clients to take an active role in their care. Patients are educated and empowered, whereas conventional medicine sometimes leaves patients less involved in decision-making.
Conclusion
Both Dr. Areti’s health model Naturopathic, Integrative, Functional Medicine and Conventional Medicine have important roles in healthcare.
Conventional medicine excels in emergencies, acute care, and surgery, while Dr. Areti’s health model Naturopathic, Integrative, Functional Medicine shines in prevention, chronic disease management, and personalized healing.

Individual results may vary, and we do not claim to offer a diagnosis or cure for any specific condition or disorder. The Brain and Sensory Foundations activities appear to improve overall functioning resulting in measurable improvements for a range of conditions as demonstrated in over 1800 case studies from participants.
