     1.        Research topic: Efforts in providing technical solutions and cutting-edge research & development in jewellery manufacturing through different projects

   2. Assistant Professor (Research), University Centre for Research and Development (UCRD), Chandigarh University, Mohali from 9th February 2022 to 2nd January 2023.

Research topic: Synthesis of composite materials using different processing routes and investigation of the microstructural and mechanical behavior

Research outline:

• Development of aluminum based metal matrix composites and effort to improve the mechanical and tribological properties.

• Analyze the corrosion behavior of different alloys and composites. 

    3. Research Scholar (Ph.D.), School of Mechanical Sciences, IIT Bhubaneswar from 2nd January 2017 to 30th December 2021. 

Research topic: Synthesis and manufacturability of TiB2 reinforced magnesium RZ5 alloy based in-situ metal matrix composites

Research outline:

• Development of TiB2 reinforced in-situ magnesium RZ5 alloy-based metal matrix composites through self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) and analysis of its mechanical properties.

• Study the effect of TiB2 reinforcement on the tribological behavior of magnesium RZ5 alloy matrix composite.

• Investigation on the manufacturability of RZ5/TiB2 in-situ magnesium matrix composites in terms of castability, machinability, and friction stir weldability.

     4. M.Tech., Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, NIT Rourkela (2013-2015).

Research topic:  Synthesis and characterization of Cu-graphite-SiC hybrid metal matrix composites prepared by powder metallurgy route

Research outline:

• Synthesis of Cu-graphite-SiC hybrid metal matrix composites using powder metallurgy route.

• Study the microstructural, XRD phase analysis, mechanical (hardness, strength), wear resistance, and electrical conductivity of the developed composites.
