Here are some common questions that we have received about the performance. Please let us know if you have any additional questions!  Thank you!

What time should my dancers arrive?

• Dancers should arrive 20-30 minutes before their scheduled performance time

How long do we need to stay?

• Shows A, B and C: We would like dancers to stay for the full performance.  If they have a conflict and need to leave after they perform, please let us know in advance so that we can keep track of any children leaving early.

• Show D: Dancers and their guests are only required to be there for their scheduled time.  You are all welcome to stay and watch friends or other classes perform as well.  Please leave the front sections of seats for the guests of the class performing.

What if it rains?

• This is a rain or shine event.  For Show D, we have a large tent that covers the stage area and the seats.  We will do our best to cover all other areas as well and keep the dances dry & smiling!

Is there space to get dressed at the recital?

• Shows A-C: There is a large dressing room area for dancers to get changed. If dancers have multiple costume changes, we recommend purchasing a bodysuit/dance bra to make changes easy. There will be racks to hang costumes on and changing tents to get dressed in.

• Show D: Dancers may get dressed at home or at Dance Place.  Studio One and Studio Two will be set up as dressing rooms. There will be racks to hang costumes on and changing tents to get dressed in.

• *All Shows* Please leave valuable jewelry, accessories, and other items at home. These items are really easy to lose and the dressing room areas can get quite busy. 

Do dancers need tights?

• Dancers in LITTLE FEET, MINI STARS and SHINING STARS should have received ankle socks (sometimes they fall to the bottom of the costume bag). If they did not we will have extras.  

• All other dancers should have received tights. If they did not we will have extras.

• *Hip Hop classes with pants do not need them, but we have them if they would like

Hair & Makeup?

• There is a Hair and Makeup section on the portal which lists all items needed/all hairstyles.  If you need any other info, please reach out!

Is there a Livestream?

• Yes, we will livestream through the BAND APP.  Here is the link to share with family & friends who can not attend.

Any other odds & ends...

• There will be a photo backdrop set up in our party room to take pictures for the outdoor recital and in the lobby area of the indoor recital.

• We have LOTS of lost and found from this season.  We will be setting all of that out in our party room during the final week of classes.  Feel free to take a look and see if you find anything that belongs to you. There are lots of jackets, water bottles and sweatshirts. Anything left over will be donated at the end of the week.

When do classes end for the year?

• Each class has one last class the week following the recital.  Just a fun end of year dance class/get-together.
