Hi,
I am an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Yonsei University Mirae Campus.
My research centers on a single question, why do purposeful actions by organizations produce outcomes that were never intended?
This question cuts across contexts that might otherwise seem unrelated. Organizations that act rationally and deliberately still generate outcomes they neither predicted nor wanted. I take this pattern seriously as an analytical object, not as a collection of anomalies.
Understanding why purposeful action goes wrong is, in my view, a more honest foundation for organizational theory than cataloguing what went righ
I teach Business Strategy, Organization Development at the undergraduate level and Strategic Management and Entrepreneurial Strategy at the graduate level. Before entering academia, I worked as project leader at IT service firms and also worked at Arthur D. Little and Monitor Group.
