PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR
Assistant Professor
School of mathematical & Statistical Sciences, IIT Mandi
I study electrokinetic transport in confined micro- and nanofluidic systems from a theoretical perspective. I completed my Ph.D. at IIT Kharagpur, where I worked on electroosmotic flow and ionic transport in nanopores. Subsequently, I explored gated micro/nanochannels and blue energy harvesting at IIT Guwahati and KMUTT, Bangkok, and later worked on thermally driven transport and thermoelectric energy conversion at TU Darmstadt.
My research integrates physics-based modeling with data-driven methods to understand transport phenomena for applications in energy and sensing.
JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
I am a research scholar at SMSS, Indian Institute of Technology Mandi. My research focuses on electrokinetic transport phenomena in micro - nanoscale systems. I completed my MSc from National Institute of Technology Calicut, where my master’s project involved stock market modelling. I also have experience with the finite difference method from my internship at Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
M.Sc in Applied Mathematics at IIT Mandi, with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (Hons.) from the University of Delhi. Currently working on a Master’s project in nanofluids, exploring advanced mathematical modeling and computational techniques to analyze complex fluid behavior and real-world applications.
