I am interested in the theoretical electrokinetic transport phenomena under narrow confinements. I was very fortunate to start my research journey under the supervision of Prof. Somnath Bhattacharyya, dept. of Mathematics, IIT Kharagpur. During my Ph.D., I have worked on the electroosmotic flow and ionic transport inside synthetic isolated nanopores (theoretical).  After that, I studied the electrokinetic transport phenomena inside gated micro/nanochannels and modern-day energy harvesting techniques (BLUE energy) with Prof. Pranab Kumar Mondal, IIT Guwahati, and Prof. Somchai Wongwises, KMUTT, Bangkok, Thailand. Currently, I am working on thermally induced transport phenomena and thermoelectric energy conversion under the supervision of Prof. Steffen Hardt at the Institute of Nano-microfluidics, TU Darmstadt, Germany.
