Descriptions : The taskbar has a start menu at the top of the screen that you can access at any time. Increase your productivity and turn your Android tablet into a true multitasking machine!

 Features :

This home launcher sort of allows me to use Windowed mode (see screenshot). Although, the whole Waydroid container crashes when trying to switch from full screen mode to Windowed mode. It also solves the problem of not being able to quit some full screen apps/games since there is always an overlay button in the lower left corner that allows the taskbar to be expanded no matter what is running.

Do you want to install Windows 11 but you really like the taskbar of windows 10? Then you can actualy patch the Windows 11 Explorer to get back the old taskbar. Doing this will make TaskbarX functional again in Windows 11. Visit ExplorerPatcher

What versions of Windows does TaskbarX support? TaskbarX only supports Windows 10. Version 1709 and lower will have issues with the "taskbar styling" option but, the centering will work fine. Windows 7 does not work and is not supported. It could be working on Windows 8 but, is not officially tested and is also not supported.

I seem to be missing something. What I want is simply to make the taskbar transparent (and preferably blurred too). What I don't want is a different start menu - in my opinion the start screen in Win 10 is better than anything that Classic Shell or StartIsBack provide. There seems to be no option for that?

To make the taskbar transparent (without blur) is simply an option built in Windows 10. Open Settings > Personalisation > Colours > Tick "Make Start, taskbar and action centre transparent". Achieving blur on taskbar is a different thing thought. That's why there are talk about third party programs to achieve it as I have not come cross an alternative convenient method.

The most important thing for you here is that StartIsBack was not suggested to offer taskbar blur (although it have the feature). The reason I suggested StartIsBack because it allows colouring the taskbar so brighter colours can be used which was an attempt to answer this:

If you just don't care about the taskbar colour, you do NOT have to use either Classic Shell or StartIsBack. Just enable taskbar transparency in settings and use TaskbarBlurToggle which will work just fine as you can see below. You may also need to use "Personalization Panel for Windows 10" from here. Using this utility, you will be able to set theme colour intensity to lowest level so the blur effect on taskbar can be seen clearly.

No no no, Whenever I (and I am assuming F3lixChan as well) use this program to enable blur, it makes the taskbar 100% opaque. It does not add any blur to the taskbar. I never used StartIsBack but I found that you can enable taskbar blur on the taskbar only using Classic Shell's option in the Windows 10 settings tab. Classic Shell is free and you can make it so the Windows 10 start menu is the only start menu that appears.

This will run every two seconds so your taskbar automatically refreshes. I put it on my C-drive, and created a .vbs file to run in startup. This script hides the command window so that you never see it.

Actually, me too. I'm stuck at the taskbar blur level. I tried to use TaskbarBlurToggle with StartIsBack and personalisation utility from winaero, but intensity slider affect only windows borders but not taskbar itself(((

I downloaded the setup installer version of 2.48. It will not execute to run the setup. When I click on it, my cursor spins for a few seconds, then the cursor goes back to normal, but the program does not run. I check with taskmanager and it is not running. Soooo, I tried the portable zip version of the program. I unzipped it in the same directory as my previous version. It executes when I start my computer (I have it in my startup directory). However, it just sits in my taskbar and I cannot get it to open, close or end (when I use taskmanager). So, I deleted it and installed 2.47, which works fine. There is something with that program that does not work with my computer setup. I have an antivirus and a firewall, but 2.47 works fine with that and my older version (I think 2.42) worked fine.

I have Windows 10 (latest version)

You can download Taskbar 6.0 from the Google Play Store link below or compile the app from its source code on GitHub. The app is totally free to use, but there's a $1.99 donate version in case you want to support farmerbb's development efforts.

I really enjoy using the taskbar tweaker but have recently come into a problem i have not yet found a solution too. While 7+ Taskbar Tweaker is running it keeps refreshing the taskbar and thus rearranging the tabs. As soon as i exit or swirch of the taskbar tweaker then this behavior stops too. I am irritated by this and need help please.

I have been using PlatformIO for a long time and suddenly this afternoon, the task bar with the PlatformIO icons (build, flash, monitor, etc) is not opening. Instead its showing the normal VS code taskbar. I have tried uninstalling everything, VScode, PIO, all C extensions, all extensions in fact and also deleting the .platformio folder under users.

I know of win+T. This shortcut puts focus on the first taskbar icon and allows you to select and display a window with up/down/enter. I would ideally like something like Ctrl+Win+Down to immediately switch to the next window.

BACKGROUND (MRU vs Cycling): Windows Alt+Tab operates off of MRU (Most Recently Used). Unfortunately this is quasi non-determinstic - if you don't have perfect memory of the current z-order of your windows - you don't know which buttons to push and how many times to push them in order to reach a particular window. Therefore you have to go into a keypress-->observation-->keypress-->observation cycle that might involve many iterations -- rather than just one iteration of observation-->keypress. The goal of this script is to allow you to look at the taskbar - choose the window you want to end up on - and be able to push some keys in one go with the knowing that you will get where you wanted to go at the end of those keypresses and won't need to check again to see where you now are.

When the automatic check is enabled, it will start on background once the main window is opened. If WinSCP detects new version or gets a message, it will indicate so using icon on Updates toolbar and balloon notification in taskbar status area. If the notification is not clicked, WinSCP will by default display full information about the new version the next time it starts.

I would like to know if there is a way to get a UserForm to show automatically when I select the workbook from the taskbar tab.

I am using Excel 2003 with Windows 7

The sub Workbook_Open() works fine when the workbook is opened for the first time.

The sub WorkBook_Activate() works if I click on the tab when I have been in another workbook.

But I cannot get the form to open if I move from, for example a word doc to the work book.

For example.

Wkb1 holds the form

Wkb2 is active

If I click the Windows taskbar tab for Wkb1 then the form shows automatically but if

Word is active and I click the Windows taskbar tab for Wkb1 then the form does not show and I have to manually open it.

I hope you can help

Johan
