I can't change my playlist cover, I thought maybe it was because somehow I tried to upload PNG version of the picture, but turned out it wasn't the issue. I asked my friends if then can change their playlist cover, all of them said yes. So I thought that maybe I should just wait a little bit more and it will fix at some point, but it's been almost four days and I still cannot change the cover. And yes, I tried different pictures, didn't work. I tried logging off multiple times and the log in, but it didn't help either, as well as simply shutting the app off. When I try to change it, it says "You cannot save changes to a playlist. Try again."

I am having the exact same problem. Everyone online says to perform a clean reinstall, but I have done this multiple times on all the devices I am logged in on and nothing has changed, I still can't change my Spotify covers. I also thought the problem would fix itself, but it has been weeks and I still can't edit playlists.

I tried the solutions above on the web player and on the web app. I uninstalled the windows app, downloaded the one on Spotify website and installed it. I disabled all the firewall...etc. I still can't change the playlist cover. I select a new pic to upload. Then, it keeps uploading forever (freezes there and nothing happens). Any solution please?

I made some custom covers for several of my Spotify playlists in GIMP on the PC. I added them on my PC and confirmed that they showed up on my phone. But when trying to share them to my social media, the standard "4 artists album cover collage" shows up instead of my own.

So I sent the playlist to a couple of friends via the chat function in Snapchat. My custom covers show up in the preview when sending the link, and the recipients also see my covers when they open them on Spotify on their phone, but still, when I share them as a Facebook/Instagram story or Snapchat picture/story, it still doesn't work.

When you share a playlist with a custom cover on Instagram, it will be automatically replaced with the default four-tile album artwork instead. When sharing to Snapchat, only Spotify-owned and curated playlists will support custom artwork.

this is ridiculous, it's 2022 but this is still not implemented, this is not a rocket science. seems that if the playlist is created by spotify, it will show the custom cover picture, but if the playlist is created by someone else even the artist itself, the custom cover picture does not show.

while reordering the tracks in my playlists, i noticed that the default playlist cover (4 tiles) is not always in sync with the four top tracks, specifically when viewing from my public profile versus from the playlist itself.

The cover image is based on the order of the tracks the playlist was created with initially. Any change to those tracks (to the top-4), like removing one of them, should cause the cover to update automatically.

I followed the instructions on the docs page: I requested the ugc-image-upload, playlist-modify-public and playlist-modify-private scopes, added the content type header and made a jpeg Base64 String. But I keep getting back a 405 Method Not Allowed error. I am able to create a image with the same URL and Authorization Token on android. I already tried to add the android generated Base64 String to my swift request, but this did not work either.

A lot of spotify playlist covers these days have a very flat, dark, monochromatic look. This step is totally optional and depends on your personal choice. You can either choose to simply color correct your photographs and use them as it is. You can also just use some cool graphics.

Speaking at this year's OFFF Festival in Barcelona, the studio's hometown, Vasava took to the stage to explain the process of creating 6 of the most popular playlists covers, and explain what makes working with Spotify such a unique design proposition. Custom playlists on Spotify are a great way for users to express themselves. Now that feature is coming to mobile users after the editing tools debuted in a limited test in November. Now, both Free and Premium users can upload custom cover images from their mobile devices.

Spotify playlists are a way to group numerous songs of the same type or to listen to them at a certain time. Users can add new songs to these lists or delete the ones they want. Playlists are easily customizable. But in addition to this, Spotify offers the possibility of adding a cover art that adds a personal touch and makes it easier to identify a certain playlist. So, making a custom Spotify playlist cover is a great idea!

Regardless of its size, the font must be easy to read. Thus, choose a simple, thick, and clear font that matches playlist content. You can choose basic fonts, such as Helvetica or Avenir, but there are also various free-to-download fonts available online. Once you have picked up the right font, then decide about its size and color, and make sure that the background provides enough contrast with your text.

Spotify has quietly launched a tool that lets you create unique AI-generated art for your playlists. Customizing your music playlists is more fun and interesting with this easy-to-use feature that you can access via the web or mobile app.

Spotify has added a feature that lets you use AI to generate artwork for your playlist cover. At the time of writing, it's available to users in Australia and New Zealand, the likely reason being that Spotify wants to trial the feature before rolling it out to everybody else.

The AI art tool aims to offer a fun and interesting way to customize the look of your playlists. Normally, the display image is made up of various album art selected from the songs inside your playlist.

Similar to how AI art generators like Midjourney, DALL-E, or Stable Diffusion work, the Spotify AI playlist art tool chooses a single song from your selected playlist and creates a text prompt based on the features of that track. In turn, this is used to generate an image.

Have some fun customizing your Spotify playlist by using the AI playlist art tool. Images are created by analyzing a song from your chosen playlist and using its unique features to create a prompt for an AI artwork. The results are one of a kind. If you don't like what you get, you can always generate a new image or set the image back to the default.

Hi there. On playlists that I have created on Qobuz the images of each playlist is pixelated on the My Playlists/Collection screen. However when I select a specific playlist and click into it, the image is ok. In all other areas on the 150b images are ok. This only is present for playlists that I have created on Qobuz and that have been imported. Playlists that I have created on Tidal or playlists from any other source (Rose for example) are fine. I have logged out and signed in to Qobuz, updated the firmware on the Rose 150 and am not able to fix the issue. Any suggestions are welcome.
