I have a sony xperia xz premium and since i got my phone my headphone jack never worked properly. it would always play the audio from the phone speakers even though i had headphones plugged in. I originally used the Soundabout app to force audio to use the headphones jack. that worked fine and solved my problem. but ever since i upgraded to android 8 oreo the soundabout app does not work. the devs for that app seem to have abandoned it as it hasnt been updated since 9/2016. So im wondering if anyone knows another solution. i havent found any other similar app that works for me.
