I have an Asus Scar G733QR and after a month I decided to check the shadow drive function of the keystone. I linked my asus profile to the keystone and now I see I have 1.5tb instead of 1tb (which is what I originally got on this pc). Checking the folders I see I now have the C drive with 1tb and the Shadow Drive with 538GB. I was really unaware but it seems really cool to me! Is it normal tho? I didn't see this advertised anywhere on asus website I believe.

I have changed the steam server to other location and it's still the same.Whole time the disk usage is 100%, and once i pause the download, the disk usage will drop, so it's clear that the drive speed is the bottleneck. it will go like 1 or 3 seconds of high speed download and drop to zero before the harddrive is ready to get new data again.

Although you can use the same drive that contains your file share resource as the destination drive for your shadow copies, for performance reasons, Microsoft recommends that you use a separate physical hard disk drive.

You must assign a drive letter to the hard disk that you use for shadow copy backups. If possible, avoid creating a shadow copy on a mount point. Setting shadow storage on a mount point in a cluster is supported on a server cluster in Windows Server 2003.
