Recon Bolt is an Intel ability that Sova must equip before casting. Upon doing so he will equip himself with a bow that holds a recon arrow. Sova can control the number of times this arrow can bounce off of terrain using Alt Fire and affect its range by holding Fire. The arrow has four fixed ranges that it can be fired in, displayed as a charge bar under the crosshair. The arrow enters a higher range as soon as the charge bar begins to fill up one of the bars, reaching maximum range once all three bars are filled. Whilst charging, Sova can recast the ability to reset the charge bar and allow him to safely release his Fire key without firing the arrow.

For this specific guide, I will be focusing on the attacking side in which Sova's incredible ability can be best put to use. A perfect recon dart can get your team crucial information that can help you dominate a site and get you that next win. Each dart will have 3 steps, where to stand, where to aim, and how much power. Simple. The final image of each step will show you exactly what will be covered from each dart so you know what is clear and what might still need a check. Let's go from left to right from the spawn, starting with B site then middle and finally ending with A.

This is one of the simplest lineups and can be done quickly as it can be done from almost anywhere within B main. For the best results you should go into the first section of B main and stand roughly in the middle, this means you don't have to peak the corner and risk being caught off guard. Although it could be a good idea to have a teammate hold for a push just in case of an enemy push. This bolt clears all of the front side of B site and clears the cubby within B main

This is a very easy recon bolt for scanning the entirety of Ascent's very open middle. All you have to do is stand roughly behind the top mid box, aim the window furthest away on the left, and release at full power. This is a good arrow as it reveals enemies on both sides of the mid-wall and can even spot players on short and cubby spots. I would highly recommend firing this arrow at the start of the round for early-mid information and to possibly get an easy Operator kill.

A site on Ascent is a little bit tricky due to the all of the hiding places for the enemy to use at their advantage, however, this one key arrow can reveal the majority of these spots and help you gain easy access to the bomb site. The only areas it doesn't cover is under heaven and the cubby in A main, which would need to be checked upon entering the site. This is probably the most complicated of the bolts in this guide so be careful to follow the images as best you can to guarantee your victory.

This Sova lineup begins in A Lobby and targets A Site. By positioning and angling the shock bolt correctly, Sova can damage enemies hidden in A Site without exposing himself, creating opportunities for team pushes or disrupting defuser attempts.

By shooting the recon bolt from the Defender Spawn towards B Elbow, Sova can gather critical information about enemy movement. This can particularly help to anticipate flanks or rushes through B Elbow.

A recon bolt shot from the Defender Spawn to A Cave provides Sova and his team with crucial knowledge about any enemies lurking or rotating through the A Cave, giving his team an edge during the defense.

Shooting a recon bolt from Attacker Spawn to A Site can provide early reconnaissance, helping the attacking team know if the site is heavily defended or not, and thus adjust their attack strategy accordingly.

Firing a recon bolt from B Snake into B Site helps in gathering key information about enemy presence or setup on B Site. This intelligence is critical for planning attacks or understanding the enemy's defense strategy.

Call off the attack everyone, I misjudged the pixels on that tree branch. Let's be honest, there's a lot going on in Valorant, and most of us only have so much brain space for tricky lineups on each and every map. Sova's Recon Bolt is an incredible ability, and while many inventive lineups have been shared online, most are all-too easy to forget if you're not a professional. To help the average Sova player out, we've come up with some easy to remember Sova Recon Bolt spots that you won't forget. These bolts won't perfectly catch out a smart enemy team, but they will ensure you're useful to your own team when they need you to be. If that's what you're after, read on for

Now, a quick note on the shots shown below. We've focussed on the attacking side because that's where most players tend to struggle. A good Recon Bolt spot can get your team into the site or distract a waiting enemy, forcing them to take care of it or risk being revealed. We've explained where to stand, where to aim, and where the bolt will land, so you know exactly what it covers. Remember, you can see exactly where the bolt lands on your minimap to know if you've done it correctly. With that out of the way, let's get started. Click the links below to jump to each bolt spot, or scroll down to see them all.

The Recon Bolt will fly over the wall and land up on the back wall of the site as shown below. If you line this correctly, this recon bolt will reveal anyone standing behind the central box, as well as hiding next to the short or long exits. Be aware that this bolt doesn't reveal anyone hiding in or underneath Heaven (the window on the site). Warn your teammates of this before you attack.

Aaand here's where the bolt will land. It will reveal anyone standing under heaven, as well as anyone on the right side of the window. Depending on whether you aim left or right on the branch, it may reveal enemies around the site as well. Bear in mind this will be an easy bolt for someone in heaven or under heaven to shoot. You have plenty of time to move forward after firing, though.

One of the simplest recon bolts that'll prove a pain to anyone defending the middle of the map. This bolt is fired from spawn and lands on the front of the central block in B-site. It will reveal anyone hiding behind either side of the doors, as well as players trying to push out down mid. Start by walking to the back of spawn and hopping up on the the wall on the right side of the pillar.

So, those were some tips and tricks for doing the Bolt Sova recon lineup like a pro player. You can follow the playing style of the pro players, but if you can find a more effective way, then you can use your own method to do the Bolt Recon lineup.

The Russian archer Sova is one of the most-played Agents in Valorant thanks to his useful and easy-to-use toolkit. He excels at seeking out enemy locations with a number of recon abilities. He can then help his team hunt them down and finish them off.

Equips a recon arrow that can be fired at a surface. The arrow activates on collision and highlights any enemies scanned in the area. ALT FIRE adds up to two bounces similar to the Shock Bolt. The Recon Bolt can be destroyed by enemy fire. The total number of scans are now reduced from 3 to 2 after Patch Notes 7.04.

Sova is a VALORANT agent, who specializes in scouting and reconnaisance. Sova's entire kit is built around finding the enemies and marking them for his allies. Owl Drone and Recon Bolt are a single target and AoE scanners, respectively. Sova's ultimate, Hunter's Fury, is a map-wide damaging ability that also marks enemies it hits. Teams that like to rely on complete information on enemies' movements and positioning will want to have a Sova in their ranks.

After climbing Treebeard and familiarizing myself with the steep upper sections of Poseidon's North Face, it made the most sense to equip it as an alternate finish to Treebeard. It can also be carefully rapped into from the summit via Ley Line/Snow Arch's final two bolt anchor & directionals.

From the Treebeard ledge, follow two bolts out right through easy/ledgy terrain to a spicy mantle. An optional slung jug & reachy #00 cam placement protect the easy but heady moves out right off the ledge to clip bolt 3. From here, gradually steepening terrain and wildly varied panels of granite bring you through quality 5.11 to a techy crux with a couple of options.

This deposits you into a section of steep jug hauling through tremendous exposure until arriving at a stance below the crack at the last bolt. Really fun moves here to gain the crack & a wild no-hands kneebar at the mini roof beneath the splitter. Decipher how to pull over this bulge & into the splitter & tiptoe your way up the exposed headwall through a quality finger-to-tips crack in an absolutely wild position.

Descent: From here you can lower to clean (stay clipped into the other line or you will be stuck out in space) Clip into bolt 5 to redirect & reach the belay ledge. Bringing a tagline would smooth things out. 2351a5e196
