I am so fucking tired of queuing into a Hunter, seeing the quest and then knowing that no matter what I do it's going to result in either a spell killing my minions or a spell going straight to my face over and over and over and over and over.

Define "viable". Also, the questline is just a shell; you can build out the deck many different ways to suit different metas. I've had the most fun with a controll-ish style, and been able to climb into mid-legend ranks the past few months. To me, that's viable.

Face hunter does seem to be the strongest archetype for the last several expansions, which is kind of frustrating, though. All these cool cards and mechanics available to the class, but the only thing that sees much play is damage that goes immediately face.

Yep, I have been playing wild all day and people have already proven that the quest is still completely broken. Even without Baku or using the twin dmg. Spell. The quest is the issue not the spells it uses it the buff Baku gives to hunters.

My other suggestion for Hunter quest change is that the required spells should target minions only, not to the hero's face. Hunter can still finish the quest but this change would slow down Hunter and make them to control the board instead of pushing for Aggro Quest archetypes... Also, it would help build other slower Quest Hunter strategies too.

I understand it can be strong if you play it before the second part of your quest is completed so that the beast hero power costs 0 and can be recast after playing spells but its basically useless if you cannot accomplish this task which to me seems pretty rare.

Quest Hunter is about as simple as an overhead action adventure RPG can get. After crash-landing in a forest, you play as a character who soon meets a bunch of NPCs that may be able to help him take to the skies once again. In order to do so, you'll traverse a wide world full of locales, dungeons, and treasures. Along the way, you'll complete plenty of side-quests while enhancing your gear, crafting new items, and taking on a bunch of goofy-looking enemies. The core gameplay is basic and somewhat fun as you can dig up treasures with a shovel, light torches to ward off enemies, and use cool abilities to take down hordes of monsters. However, the combat is Quest Hunter's main issue as it simply feels like you and your enemies stand next to each other as you watch HP gauges decrease. There's no real strategy or skill required and it doesn't even feel like attacks actually connect. Outside of combat, it's a fairly fun and laidback adventure.

Fairy Knights is a delightful and silly game where you play as a hero and his cat who go on a quest to bring the rain back to your kingdom. Along the way, you'll meet many charming NPCs and some of them will even join you from time to time. Anyway, the gameplay simply involves moving from left to right as enemies confront you then you engage them in combat. The battle system is basically a take on Taito's underrated arcade puzzler Tube-It where you try and connect a path of tiles between nodes that line the left and right walls of the playfield. Once you make a match, it determines your next attack's strength and performing combos will allow you to attack multiple times in a row. I found this formula to be extremely fun and I highly enjoyed enhancing my characters' capabilities as well.

Those who write a thesis with her find a true collaborator in their quest for knowledge and fresh ideas. And they, like any who work closely with a benevolent perfectionist, feel a mixture of surprise, gratitude, and guilt. Some have wondered in amazement whether she spent more time reading their thesis drafts than they did in writing them. She has treated her students to food and film, and at crunch time she has even visited the deepest corners of the library to check on their projects, and their sanity. One thesis student, painfully afflicted by the paralyzing self-doubt that a noble perfectionism can instill, remembers a tearful visit to this professor's office: "But instead of just telling me it would be alright, [she] did something that was infinitely more helpful. She calmly pulled out a notebook and pen... We would be, she said, a team."

Above all, students will tell you that her work with them epitomizes the liberal arts education. As one puts it, "the best teachers have the humility, courage, and curiosity to join with a class in a mutual journey of discovery." Throughout this journey, she relentlessly challenges students to think for themselves, to question their sources, and to apply what they have learned to the broader world. And truly, as they enter that world, they go forth with greater confidence and discernment, to live futures that are all the more rich and nuanced - all the more ideal - for their study of the past.

Because you so inspire others upon such a fascinating and eternal quest for more perfect understanding, along roads opened only by questions yet to be asked, and because you cultivate in them the self-confidence and drive to make this a journey for life, we thank you and recognize you, Vivien Dietz, as a 2013 winner of the Hunter-Hamilton Award.

Lady of the Lake is a mission for anyone who's yelled "Don't go in there!" at a character investigating in a horror movie. In the southwestern border of Glowecestrescire, you'll find a strange woman in white singing a haunting melody by a misty lake filled with corpses - including one hanging upside down on the side of a locked cabin. Speak to her, and the door to the cabin will fly open, giving you access to the witchy horrors and deadly trap that lies within. The quest has all the elements of gruesome folk horror, including a seemingly innocent woman to lure you in, dismembered humans, and (if you read the note inside the cabin) a hint of cannibalism.
