Can you share a story map to someone who is not signed up to arcgis. I'm aware that you share publicly for all to see or within an organization. If anyone knows how to share privately your help with the steps would be greatly appreciated

Thank you Owen.Is there a particular type of account that they are required to be set up on? Is it a general Arcgis account?

Will the private option become available in the near future?

Thanks

@ANNEMARIEBROWNE -- Any user type with view access to items in the organization is sufficient (this includes Viewer, Storyteller, Creator, and others). I'm not aware of any plans to implement a private/no-account option at this time.

I have gotten around this by publishing to the organization and providing my login info to my clients which of course Esri tells you not to do! But as a consultant, I am usually set up with a guest account within my clients' AGOL organization, so technically they already have the info.

My management team has a board for tracking leadership projects which they want to open up to all managers. Before they do this they want to see if they can make certain stories/projects "private" where not all end users could use. Is this possible?

Twine games are inherently private - only the creator has the copy, unless they share it further. This is true both for the online and the offline version.

However, they are also inherently shareable - once shared, there's no sensible way to prevent or control further sharing.

The Story Projects you create using the Twine 2.x application are only stored locally on your machine, and nothing is stored on the (web) server even if you are using the web-browser based release that is hosted on the Twinery web-site. Where exactly on your machine those projects are stored depends on which release of the application you are using.

This release stores your projects within a folder on your local hard-drive, the exact location of this folder can be determined by using the Twine > Show Library menu items.

The Story HTML files created via the Publish to File option are also stored locally to your machine, generally in a folder of your choosing. The Twine 2.x application has no built-in ability to publish your stories on-line, that activity is left up to you to do manually.

Below I share with you, a short personal text about Ernesto Bazan, and press information prepared by the Institute of Photography FORT, which concerns both the upcoming exhibition and photographic workshops. I highly recommend both of these events

The press release below, prepared by Fundacja Fotografii FORT, synthetically describes his incredible contributions to contemporary photography. I will share a very private story related to this unique man, a great photographer, Ernesto Bazan.

The more I looked at the photographs the more I was taken by a strange conviction that there was a man somewhere in the world who had a similar sensibility to mine. Although it was hard to believe, I had a distinct impression that I sensed and understood the motivation that moved the author every time he pressed the shutter.

Here it is the empirical confirmation of all my intuitions before flying overseas. I spoke with a warm and gentle man who told me about the purpose of his life, about the values that motivated him and his photographic work, about the human condition that he has been looking at, about truth and the freedom of those who are fighting for such values, and those who he loved and photographed. He spoke about love and the power of faith, about everything that I could sense intuitively when looking at his photographs in Warsaw.

We exchanged books and I got on the plane and returned to Warsaw feeling that I had made a new friendship with him, which continues to this day. Nurtured by both of us, our friendship provides the most wonderful experiences, for which I thank you very much Ernesto!

Private Snapchat stories are stories that can only be viewed by people you have selected. You can create multiple private stories, and you can upload images and videos on them that will disappear after 24 hours. This wikiHow article will show you how to create a private story on Snapchat.

For that, there are specific private stories that users can make. Those stories allow users to choose the exact friends in the app that they want to be able to see their story. There are a few things user should keep in mind about any story they make, including private stories in the app.

All stories last 24 hours and then the photos and videos disappear forever unless they're saved to memories or saved to the user's camera roll. Users can create up to three "Custom," "Geo" or "Private" stories at a time, according to Snapchat.

When a user creates a "Private" story the snaps they add are visible to the friends they grant access to and they can also make it possible for other friends in the app to add to the story. The snaps from that story are available in the normal "My Story" for the users who have access to them.

Users have to open up the app and select their profile icon at the top of the screen. Then the can select the "+ Create New Story" and then choose the kind of story they want to make, there they should choose private story and follow the steps Snapchat prompts.

To add to the story further users should take a snap like they would to send it to a friend but instead of sending it to the friend, they should add it to the specific story they want it added to. They can do this by selecting the story they want to add it to instead of a friend and then tap the arrow button that indicates posting it.

To edit a private story users should tap the profile button again and then setting button indicated with the three vertical dots and then select "Story settings." From there they'll be able to rename the story, delete snaps and add friends to it.

Private Snapchat stories are shared with specific people and not visible to the public. Unfortunately, if you see a photo/video of yourself on someone's private story, you can only report the story and hope that it gets taken down. Still, if you have been added to someone's private story and don't want to be, you can remove yourself rather easily. The steps to doing so remain the same across Android and iOS devices. This wikiHow article will teach you how to remove yourself from a private Snapchat story using the mobile app.

Private Servers are purchasable servers that can be bought on the "Servers" tab on the game's page. Zombie Stories' private servers cost 10 upfront and will have a 10 monthly subscription fee to keep up, meaning if the private server owner cannot afford to keep up the private server - they, along with any other players can no longer join in the private server until it is renewed.

Private Servers by default will start to automatically renew the monthly subscription fee every month and on the day of the server's purchase, the owner of the server can choose to turn off automatic renewals, which still allows player access to the server until the renewal date, where it will then disable joins until the server subscription is renewed. The owner can also choose to allow if players are able to join, disabling joins will "deactivate" the server and will not allow anyone to access the private server until joins are turned back on.

When in a Private Server, pressing the "Play" button will put the player in an empty lobby. The lobby leader can invite other players on the server to join their lobby by typing out their name on the bar on the bottom right and then clicking "INVITE". Private servers also remove the normal 6 player limit in a lobby

Clicking on the "SELECT STORY" button will bring up the Stories that the lobby's leader has access to, selecting a chapter will change the lobby to the chosen chapter and clicking "START STORY" will start the story and will start to teleport the players to the chapter. The chosen chapter can still be played even if one of the players does not have access to the story/difficulty if the lobby leader has access to it. Clicking the "SET TO SCENARIO" button will open the Scenarios menu and will allow access to the currently available scenario. Starting a chapter only with 1 player in the lobby will act the same way if the player had started a Solo lobby in a public server.

For many Snapchat users, creating private stories is their main method of interacting with the app. Whereas regular stories are shared with anyone who follows you (much like an Instagram story), private stories are shared with a select audience that you get to control. That makes them the perfect way to interact with people and keep it private. Naturally, when people noticed that their private story was gone, they started to panic.

If you feel confident that the story was flagged or deleted in error (accidents happen!), you can try reposting it, but do be aware that being flagged several times could put you in danger of having your account suspended.
