Easy-to-use resources were designed to help institutions and financial aid administrators communicate with borrowers as they begin transitioning back into repayment on federal student loans. The toolkit includes a variety of components, such as social media posts, one-page infographics, and videos that can be distributed through email, social media, postal mail, flier distribution, or other methods.
Predictive AI tools analyze patterns in student data to forecast outcomes such as being on track for graduation. These insights allow educators to intervene proactively but require care in understanding outputs and evaluating them for potential bias.
This toolkit is designed to help local, state, and national education systems worldwide develop guidance on the responsible use of AI, ensure compliance with relevant policies, and build the capacity of all stakeholders to understand AI and use AI effectively. The recommendations in this toolkit may also inform the early stages of developing policies and procedures, whether mandatory or voluntary.
In parallel with guidance and policies that address immediate concerns, education systems must prioritize professional development for all staff and bring together individual educators' experiences with AI to document successes, identify gaps, and build collective organizational knowledge and capacity. A systemwide approach would go beyond instructional issues to include operational considerations such as evaluating AI tools already in use and creating selection criteria for future evaluations. It also leads to more equitable AI integration across classrooms and prevents inequities from emerging when innovation diffuses haphazardly.
NEW! Toolkit Section! CMQCC has released an addendum to the Supporting Vaginal Birth Toolkit. This brand-new content provides additional evidence-based tools and resources to effectively integrate midwifery care and doula support into the hospital setting and how to best support those who transfer to the hospital from a community birth setting. There is an emphasis on birth equity and team-based care to improve outcomes for all birthing people. This supplemental section was developed with a Task Force of hospital and community-based midwives and doulas, along with a patient advocate, nurses, and physicians.

The California Health Care Foundation (CHCF) and CMQCC have partnered on consumer education campaign My Birth Matters to educate low-risk, first-birth mothers about the overuse of c-sections and encourage meaningful conversations between patients and their care team.
The campaign includes four animated videos, a consumer-facing My Birth Matters webpage and print materials. Our Communications Toolkit (ZIP) for providers contains a background document with top-level messaging, newsletter snippets, and sample social media posts, as well as graphics and images for you to use.

The project launched with a nationwide survey as well as focus groups with nine pilot clinics in four states: California, Massachusetts, North Carolina and Texas. All of the focus group clinics have experienced recurring emergencies due to the climate crisis. Participating clinics provided information on knowledge gaps, real-world challenges, and opportunities for interventions for their patient populations. They also reviewed the toolkit content and provided valuable feedback that helps us ensure the utility of these resources.

Its patients are at high risk of heat-related illnesses due to urban heat-island effects, and their neighborhoods are at high risk of flooding due to rising sea levels and worsening storms.
